Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is : atmospheric books.
Now Lindsey Reads explained in her post today that atmospheric didn’t mean dark but could also mean joyful and that’s something I never thought of!
When I hear atmospheric, I hear something gothic, sometimes dark or even spooky! So that’s what you’ll get from me today, especially as Halloween is seven days away!
All these books are not only atmospheric but extremely well written. And the atmosphere is so present that it feels like another character!
