Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week .Β I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewerΒ .
In my private life
These last two weeks have been unenventful work wise as we are still homeworking and working a lot!
I had my booster on Thursday and expected to feel bad like what I experienced for some hours after the second jab but pain in my arm aside, I didn’t have any side effect. Maybe because I had enough antibodies left??
I went to the haidresser on Wednesday and as I was in town, made my Christmas shopping! Only gifts this year as my mother in law offered to host. We’ll be six with the kids included so not a big gathering. I must say that I prefer that way in these times with the COVID still being everywhere!
This afternoon, I’ll go watch West Side Story with my 81 years old mom! I wonder how it will compare to the original movie that I must have seen a loooong time ago!
And as I love the song, here is one more video for you to watch because I am SUCH A ROMANTIC π
Also on the blog this week, it’s been VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least!
Since last Sunday and till Thursday evening, my host provider has experience serious technical problems and my blog was either very very slow either unresponsive!
It made me really mad as I wanted to reply to comments but was completely unable to do so. I hope the situation is stabilized now and that I’ll have a better week ahead.
I didn’t even try posting any reviews as I was already busy with my blogmas event!
I honestly was so disheartened that I thought about stopping blogging! OK it lasted only a few minutes but that’s how discouraged I was.

As I said, I just posted about my blogmas event this week, Top Ten Tuesday aside!

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Ohno- blog issues really spike my anxiety.. and though you can contact your provider, I dont like making ohone calls I do receive a bunch at work, but here I do need an idea of what I need to say, while when you answer itβs more chill as they tell you what they need usually.. happy it seemed to have resolved!
Im still waiting for my booster, theyβre doing 50 & 40s now i believe.. but my second I barely felt anything at all. Just a usual migraine, which I do get quite alot- especially around the time my contraceptive that I take continuously is near the end of one month. So though I *was* KO, it wasnβt the vaccineβs fault ahah
Merry Christmas Sophie xx have a great time with your family
I didn’t have a single side effect after my booster and I thought the same thing – that maybe my antibodies were still high. So yay us! π I’ve never even seen the original West Side Story but it seems the new one is getting great reviews. I was so surprised to see Ansel Elgort starring! Augustus Waters himself. LOL
Sorry about the blog issues, Sophie! Hope they’re resolved now. Glad to hear you enjoyed West Side Story!
I hope you had an amazing time watching West Side Story with your momβ₯! And here’s hoping there aren’t any more issues with your hosting company from here on out, fingers crossed!
Sorry to hear about the troubles with your blog. That’s always so frustrating. I hope you and your mom enjoyed West Side Story. I’m excited to see that film too. I loved the original film and the recent Broadway musical adaptation.
Argh! Thank heaven for West Side Story, Sophie, otherwise it would have been a stinker all round! Hope your week is more fabulous.
Thank you Flora!
Other than Phantom of the Opera, I’ve never been a musical fan, but I’ve already got my tix for Spiderman and the Matrix movies. Enjoy the movie, and hope your blog problems are resolved, Sophie!
Me too Teri!
I’m very curious about Spielberg’s version of West Side Story, and I’m certain he will not disappoint π
And let’s hope that your blogging troubles are over!!!
Thank you Maddalena!
I loved the new West Side Story! And that’s coming from a fan of the original movie and the musical theater version. Can you tell I love musicals? Haha
Yes I can Stephanie! π
I hate when anything on the computer doesn’t work, so I empathize. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and stay well!
Anne – Books of My Heart
You too Anne!
Blogging issues are so frustrating! Nice to hear you didn’t have much in the way of side effects. I had a whole 24hours of not feeling so great, but better than the 2nd dose. Sounds like you’ll have a nice intimate gathering for the holidays. Have a lovely holiday!
Thank you Rachel!
Glad you felt fine after your booster! Sorry there were blog issues-its always so tough to have something happen that you have no power over!!!
Have a great holiday!
Thank you Samantha!
Is that a theory out there? If you have antibodies. you won’t have a reaction to the booster? I should have some antibodies from my bout of covid. It’s great the booster went well for you. I hope this week is better with your host. That is frustrating. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!
No that’s just my own theory! :-))
I won’t let you stop blogging Sophie!!!
Bwahahah OK Caro deal!
That’s wonderful that you had no side effects! I’d love to think they will continue to decrease.
I hope so too!
Antibodies! π
Hope your Christmas is wonderful. Since I posted my Sunday Post my plans for the holiday have changed a bit… looks like we might be sticking closer to home rather than braving the Covid dinner lol. We’ll still see my mom though so that’s good…
Sorry to hear about your provider woes π
Well Greg I think avoiding the Covid dinner is probably best!
Sorry you had so many blog issues. Congrats on getting your booster! We got ours this past week, too. I had mild side effects, just felt off. But my husband was super sick for a day after his. He was worse for his first two than I was, too.
I hope he feels better now!
Thank you. It was just a day, so we’re both good. π
I’m sorry about your blog issues. There is nothing worse, it’s so frustrating! I’m going to see West Side Story soon too, I can’t wait. Have a great week!
I hope you’ll love West Side Story Tammy!
