Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Happy Sunday!
Last week my life had been pretty hectic but this week was better.
Only one trip to my mother in law to fetch her car and bring her to the car shop for its annual review.
Since yesterday I have a brand new laptop, costing an arm and a leg because I am photographing a lot of things for bookstagram.
Softwares like Lightroom and Photoshop take a lot of resources and RAM and my old computer with its 8 Go RAM didn’t follow.
Yesterday, Beware of the Husband, put his super hero cap on (but not the tiny briefs LOL) and set up my new Dell computer. Lots of patience and swearing because I hadn’t followed his instructions in the past and had not saved everything on the cloud…
I know I am a klutz technology wise and it’s amazing that my husband is still with me. Granted he has some more grey hair but that could also be age and not only me driving him crazy LOL
Anyway, today I was working on the new machine when everything froze!
No mouse working, not even the alt+ contro+delete to get the task manager…nada!
I was on a good start I could already tell…
We’ll see how it goes in the future but finger crossed that my problem will be easily solved!
In other news, I am feeling exhausted evening come and am not able to blog hop a lot save on my free days!
Last piece of information: it was the week of technology being annoying as I can’t post from the IG app since Thursday.
I am sparing you the details but I think I’ll have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Sigh..
On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)
I posted two reviews this week and one “Top Ten Tuesday” talking about the tropes I’ll never get enough of!
Oh and I changed the Sunday Post banner to reflect our spring weather!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

I have been in need of new laptop but keep putting it off. One day!
Also, I’m glad to see you enjoyed Only A Monster. It’s high on my TBR.
It was a really good debut!
Oh no, Dells are usually pretty good. I hope you got your computer woes sorted!
It seems that it was a glitch and so far everything has run smoothly (knockin on wood!)
Ugh, sorry to hear about the computer and IG issues. Hopefully both were just random glitches and won’t happen again. Still, pretty frustrating!
It didn’t glitch this week Tanya so fingers crossed!
Ah technology can be amazing when it’s working, but when it’s not…. it’s such a hassle. But yay for your husband helping you with it all 🙂 I totally relate, I’m super exhausted most evenings too and unable to do much – I think it’s just my body readjusting to working at the office again – luckily the longer days and nice weather are helping 🙂 Have a great week, Sophie!
Thank you Lindsey!
Oh, technology. It comes with as many advantages than disadvantages! 😀 I hope things get fixed soon for you. Stay sane. 😀
Thank you Lashaan! It was much better this week!
You’ve had more than your share of technology woes lately, Sophie. Hope things go smoother for you!
It was smoother this week Teri luckily!
My computer is starting to age quickly and I dread having to make the change to a new device! Your husband sounds like a trooper for setting it all up and helping you with it! 😉
He truly is Lori! I would be lost without him!
Technology: the joy and bane of our daily lives… 😉
Hope everything will work perfectly from now on!!!
It did this week (knock on wood and all that!) 🙂
Oh Sophie, I am so sorry you are having such issues with technology. I feel you though, even though I understand most things, I still struggle. You are blessed with the angel of a husband. I have no idea what ram I have on mine lol granted I bought mine at costco like a decade ago and somehow it still works great. But its probably because I paid $1000. But I know I need to do a upgrade soon. I am loving the new banner, and so ready for spring. But its still cold here so not feeling that yet. haha
Yes I am very lucky for my husband Renee!!
Oh I’m so sorry for all the computer problems. I hope the new one really is much faster and better.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
It is Anne, luckily!
Technology is not your friend lately it seems, Sophie 🙁 I also haven’t blog hopped a lot these days because of school. But once Easter break is coming I will have more time because one of my classes will be done!
It got better this week Stephanie!
Technology is always fun! Glad you have help though. 🙂 Love the new look!
Thank you Greg!
Yay for a new computer! I have only 8 gigs of Ram on my laptop too and it is a real problem!! Hopefully you have better luck with the new one!
I hope too Samantha!
Congrats on the new laptop. It’s always fun to get a new computer. 🙂
Exactly!!
Beware of the Husband saves the day again!
Yup! 🙂
Lol! In our house I’m the techie one, although Hubby has his own hero outfits when building shelves, furniture, etc. Hope the Dell doesn’t cause you any worries this week, Sophie.
Me neither Kim! And my husband is also handy buidling shelves LOL
Handy to keep him around.
Figuring out technology makes me so anxious! Luckily my husband is there to help too. Hope you end up loving your new computer. Your Instagram is gorgeous!
Thank you so much! That makes me very happy!
I really hope everything gets settled with your new computer and you can just enjoy using it!
Thank you! Me too!
I hope you get used to your new computer quickly. I upgraded almost two years ago and it adjusted pretty quickly. I hope it works better for you than your old one.
I adjust pretty quickly to any new technology but I just hope it runs smoothly.
Fingers crossed for you.
Thank you!!
You’re welcome!
Oh, I hope your technology cooperates finally! I hate issues with computers, etc. We need them to function properly at all times! LOL
Have a great week.
Isn’t that true Laurel! ;-)))
Gold star to the husband for all his hard work, but BOO for technology issues. They are the worst! I hope it all gets worked out soon.
Ma too Sam!
I love your Sunday Post banner And ugh, sorry to hear about your laptop issues. Hopefully your husband knows what to do!
Him or the support Tammy!
Congrats on the new computer! I kind of hate new computers because setting them up is a pain. I cried while setting up my gaming PC because it was so needlessly complicated.
Mine is not a gaming one but I was so happy to have my husband!
