Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

Last week my life had been pretty hectic but this week was better.
Only one trip to my mother in law to fetch her car and bring her to the car shop for its annual review.

Since yesterday I have a brand new laptop, costing an arm and a leg because I am photographing a lot of things for bookstagram.
Softwares like Lightroom and Photoshop take a lot of resources and RAM and my old computer with its 8 Go RAM didn’t follow.

Yesterday, Beware of the Husband, put his super hero cap on (but not the tiny briefs LOL) and set up my new Dell computer. Lots of patience and swearing because I hadn’t followed his instructions in the past and had not saved everything on the cloud…

I know I am a klutz technology wise and it’s amazing that my husband is still with me. Granted he has some more grey hair but that could also be age and not only me driving him crazy LOL

Anyway, today I was working on the new machine when everything froze!
No mouse working, not even the alt+ contro+delete to get the task manager…nada!
I was on a good start I could already tell…

We’ll see how it goes in the future but finger crossed that my problem will be easily solved!

In other news, I am feeling exhausted evening come and am not able to blog hop a lot save on my free days!

Last piece of information: it was the week of technology being annoying as I can’t post from the IG app since Thursday.
I am sparing you the details but I think I’ll have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Sigh..

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I posted two reviews this week and one “Top Ten Tuesday” talking about the tropes I’ll never get enough of!

Oh and I changed the Sunday Post banner to reflect our spring weather!

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. Ah technology can be amazing when it’s working, but when it’s not…. it’s such a hassle. But yay for your husband helping you with it all 🙂 I totally relate, I’m super exhausted most evenings too and unable to do much – I think it’s just my body readjusting to working at the office again – luckily the longer days and nice weather are helping 🙂 Have a great week, Sophie!

  2. Oh Sophie, I am so sorry you are having such issues with technology. I feel you though, even though I understand most things, I still struggle. You are blessed with the angel of a husband. I have no idea what ram I have on mine lol granted I bought mine at costco like a decade ago and somehow it still works great. But its probably because I paid $1000. But I know I need to do a upgrade soon. I am loving the new banner, and so ready for spring. But its still cold here so not feeling that yet. haha

  3. Technology is not your friend lately it seems, Sophie 🙁 I also haven’t blog hopped a lot these days because of school. But once Easter break is coming I will have more time because one of my classes will be done!

  4. Lol! In our house I’m the techie one, although Hubby has his own hero outfits when building shelves, furniture, etc. Hope the Dell doesn’t cause you any worries this week, Sophie.
