Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

This week has been bliss! A week of holiday after an intense month of hard work. And I have done nearly…nothing!

Well yes I visited the E.N.T specialist as I have a slight tinnitus and wanted it to be checked.

That led to me installing an app to measure the snoring noises of my husband and…mine! Beware of the Husband won with a resounding 83 decibel at his snoring peak! I reach 56 decibel at my highest…

I’ll now go shop for more tech designed earplugs to protect my poor ears.

A USB microphone and speaker for my Skype meetings might be in oder too, sparing me to wear a headset for nearly the whole work day!

I also got my cut and highlight refreshed and I am proud to say that I still don’t have any grey hair! My determination to not have any before 60 seems the way to go LOL

I also did make two new funko pops (I don’t have pictures yet) of Nesta and Zoya.

And I read a lot too! Between thriller, fantasy and YA contemporary going through romance as well.

I also had time to reply to comments and blog hop, finally!!

As is now customary, I am leaving you with two funny reels I made last week.

The first one is for all Red Rising fans out there: you’ll understand!

And the second one is for Bridgerton fans but also for all the Girl Power admirers!

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the caption)

I poste three reviews this week and my first bilingual review on here!

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. A week of holiday does sound like bliss! Sometimes doing nothing is just what a person needs. Maybe I should look into a snoring app to measure my husband’s snoring! He’s pretty loud most nights. I am glad you were able to get some reading in. I hope you have a great week and happy reading!

  2. Glad you had a great, relaxing week, Sophie!
I’m a little jealous that you don’t have any grey hairs, I found my first one the day I turned 30 (and they’ve increased since, haha)
That app sounds interesting, I’ll need to try it 😀

  3. Yay for having some time off! My husband snores and he says I snore too (I won’t believe that, lol!). I wish I didn’t have gray hair. I have to dye my roots all the time. Have a lovely week, Sophie!

  4. I’m glad to hear you had such a restful week off. That app for snoring definitely sounds interesting. Half the time I end up kicking the hubby out of our room because he snores so loudly and constantly wakes me up, lol.

  5. That app sounds wild! I’d be afraid to try haha, I used to have a lot of trouble with tinnitus but it seems to have gone away, whcih I don’t understand. *knocking on wood* Anywho- glad you had a great week. Those are the best, Happy happy new year to you! 🙂

  6. An app to measure snoring noises? Oh I need that. lol Half the time I end up in the guest room because I can’t sleep through the husband’s snoring. No gray hair?! I inherited early graying from my mother and have been coloring my gray roots since I was about 30!

  7. I got one of those apps just to hear for myself that I snored. Didn’t think about how loud it was! I am wondering when I will get gray hairs myself. None yet at 50. Don’t know how with all the stress. I need to read that Elise Kova book, in English of course. Loved the Sierra Simone and Julie Murphy book. I should go check out your review! Have a great week!

  8. Blondes are so lucky with grey hair. I have dark brown hair and have had greys for a long time. Even the kid (her’s is darker than mine) has had some, and she is only in her 20s. I would love to hear how they help you tinnitus. I have cicadas in my head, 24/7. It’s never quiet. Good luck with the ears. Hope the modifications help

  9. I used to snore too and then I got tested for sleep apnea. Now I wear a CPAP breathing machine so I don’t fall asleep every day at 4 p.m.! I see the ENT guys too for wax build up which makes me hard of hearing! Not! I emphathize. We have similar problems. My hubby snores too.
