Last week I told you how I was binge watching the 40 episodes of a cdrama: Pursuit of Jade. Well I finished that series and I have no a huge hangover!
For someone who never watches TV that’s saying something!
Now I want more with the same actors and I will be on the lookout for their next movie.
This week has been very busy and we are now experiencing a very hot weather! Too hot for May.
The puppies are having a hard time and me too… I am exhausted from poor nights sleep. And I had zero energy to blog hop last week… I will try to catch up with you today and tomorrow.
Today was a visit to the vet (yes on a Sunday) because the male puppy had a tick that we couldn’t get rid of. It was placed below his chin and he was moving his head so much that we didn’t want to hurt him.

Poor puppy! My dog and I go hiking on trails and in the woods all the time so I have to make sure his flea and tick prevention treatments are always up to date. Because ticks are so gross!
His treatment was up to date but I fear ticks have become immune to it. I changed treatment this week and we’ll see!
It is way too hot indeed. Hope you’ll get some better sleep soon!

I have Isako on my TBR. Good to hear you liked it so much. Currently it is rainy and cold but last week we had 4 days of 90 degree weather and I was not happy.. too hot too soon.

It’s ridiculously hot here, too. And it’s come upon us very suddenly when last week we were still all wearing our winter woollies because of the chilly Easterly. I LOATHE ticks and hope your poor little fellow soon recovers. Hoping it cools down a tad for both of us, Sophie:).

I’m sorry the weather is so hot, I have a feeling we are in for hotter than normal weather this summer. Eew a tick! I’m glad you could get into the vet on a Sunday!
I hate when it’s hot. I feel you on this. It’s in the 50s here right now, but that is set to end. Poor pup! Good thing you found the tick and were able to have it taken care of.
Urgh ticks are the worst! I found natural immune-boosting treats on Amazon that works wonders. My male also attracts them, I had 1-2 a month for like half a year! Since I started the treats, I found a tiny mini tick on him last Sunday; which I hadn’t seen since November. I’m quite pleased.
Omg here too! We’re had 28 & 30 degrees celcius days last week; way too early for this. It also looks like it’s raining pollen me & sheik are struggling with our allergies (even when I take TWO pills for allergy each morning; dr prescribed that are more powerful than over the counter ones)
I’m surprised we have never had an issue with ticks as much as we go outside and walking trails. Robin review The Contract of Isako but didn’t like it as much as you did.
