Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

This week, I was back to work and I really realized the good my three weeks of vacation did! I was thrown into problem after problem for long hours and I am proud to say that I was as cool as a cucumber!

That would have been vastly different prior to my vacation where I felt like a ticking bomb!

We’ll see how long it lasts and enjoy my current state of mind in the meantime!

Also this week, I watched a TV show!!!

Something I rarely do as I prefer reading but my husband discovered Wednesday Addams on Netflix! I had seen the trailer on another blog, I think Lashaan’s blog and wanted to watch. I am a total newbie concerning the Addams family but I HAD A BLAST!

Beware of the Husband even commented that he “wanted to be Wednesday when he grew up” 😉 Considering that he is a big man and Wednesday very thin and 5’5″ that says it all!

I am leaving you with the trailer below.

I also told you last weekend that I was painting new edges. Well I made a reel on Instagram with all the edges I painted so far. The last ones are Heart of the Sun Warrior. And I think I’ll write a tutorial one of these days.

And that’s it! Now I am going to hike in the woods, under the rain LOL

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I had an EXCELLENT reading week with two five stars read and an “all the stars” one.

If you are a fan of Harry Potter or just curious about it, I really urge you to read Beyond the Wand by Tom Felton! Even better: listen to the audiobook!

Heart of the Sun Warrior by Sue Lynn Tan was an excellent conclusion to that duology!

And then, honestly an author who has me reading all her backlist books this year and who AMAZED me with her storytelling: Cursed by Marissa Meyer was just EPIC!

Now for the end of the year… I have done my BLOGMAS for years now, distributing my own awards and inviting people to participate if they wanted it.

As my life is very busy, I will do it but tone it down this year. I won’t be able to religiously follof what others would post so I’ll just go with the flow and present you my “best books read in 2023”. You are welcome to join of course but I can’t promise to react promptly to every post. Sorry!
More about it next week.

Thanks for reading!

Sophie
