Hi dear friends!

Time to have a chat with you about what happened in my life and on the blog this month linking back to The Sunday Post @caffeinatedreviewer!

In my private life first …

Well this drawing should symbolize my week and current mood!

This Wonder Woman was drawn by Joelle Jones (find all the info in this link https://dcwomenkickingass.tumblr.com/post/10849777862/joelle)

What I meant to say is that the school is finished for the kids, my hubs is slowly getting better, all the “end of school parties” have ended (hence I am not needed as often as taxi driver or cook or …) and lots of people at work are on holiday meaning less meetings!

We have room on the train (except for some traveling kids going to or from summer camp) and I am waiting only one more week for my holiday.

So I feel way less stressed and began to set aside my wonder woman costume. πŸ˜€Β

First a message to Mary @stackingtheshelves: thank you for all your comments! You exploded my stats LOL I will answer them today πŸ˜€Β

I know I have lots of comments to reply to but I have been lazy and unwinding this week as I was utterly spent! So today is the day I will reply (but I did blog hop see below! ).

I have read and reviewed three books this week and did an advanced review/beta read for an author’s friend (I can’t wait for you to read her story!).

Obsessed by Aleatha Romig is book two in the Tangle Web series.

Storm and Fury by Jennifer L Armentrout was entertaining, with goodΒ  banter but just not my favorite by her.

And my favorite was Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. 5 stars and WOW! I will read her other books as she has a unique style and did a smart job of talking about diversity, growing up and finding your way.

This Monday was Calendar Girl and we were tasked with the choice of our favorite OTP (One True Pairing). I chose Stella and Michael from The Kiss Quotient!

On Tuesday Shanah began her alphabet Top 5 Tuesday! It’s trickier than it seems if you want to be a purist like me and if you have to find a title beginning with “E” I won’t choose “An Ember in the Ashes” or “The Easy …”. No “an” or “the” for me sir!

On Wednesday I raved about The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys as I can’t wait to read it!

If you want to know all about my favorite reads so far this year and fictional crushes, go read the Freak Out Book Tag!

And on Thursday I asked that very important question: Are you fed up with diversity in books?

On the blogosphere

And for the game …would you rather…

Last parting word here. I have a friend in need of many cheering and support. She needs all the love right now as she is going through something terribly hard and sad. So this fun meme is for you T . Love you xx

That’s it for this Sunday! Now I will answer your comments and go visit your blogs πŸ˜‰ . Do tell me how was your week!

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  7. I am happy to hear you can finally take a breath. Ahhhh! Commuting really is a bit easier in the summer, when school is out. I just cannot allow myself to get used to it, because I know it will all vanish in September.
