Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

This week I was back to work after three weeks off and let’s say that it was very challenging! More next Sunday I guess.

This wasn’t the week for good news, nor at work, nor outside as I wasn’t chosen as a rep for a company I love (but hey, that’s part of the game I guess). Said like that, it sounds silly but entering these rep searches are exposing yourself and when you are not chosen, it’s hard not to feel unworthy.

Also my dad should have been 81 today had he lived so that makes me a little bit gloomy I guess.

The permanent bad weather with rain and clouds doesn’t help either!

BUT

I did make something fun and good though!

My daughter contacted me because one of her aquaintances, a young bookworm too, launched a “Book Bingo” on Amazon. A small book/leaflet filled with fun challenges, This or That etc.

And my daughter asked if I could help spread the word, using my “follower base” on Instagram.

After talking with that young woman, I agreed to help. She sent me a Book Bingo and here is the reel I made…

I am happy to see someone so young launch a product!

And next week, on Friday, I will launch my first post for Blogmas!

This past week I published two reviews

The first one was a mild disappointment as I had loved The Roommate.

And the other was a worthy sequel!

Thanks for reading.

  1. I always feel like such a failure when I don’t get selected for books, I have never even tried to do a rep search. My fragile ego cannot handle it. I liked Do Your Worst but I thought it kind of drug on longer than necessary.

  2. It is disappointing to not be chosen when you go for something. I didn’t read The Roommate as the description didn’t appeal to me, but I did grab Do Your Worst. Didn’t know it was the same author. I hope I enjoy it more than you did. I’m sorry about your father! Loss is never easy. Hope you have a better week, Sophie!
