What a week!
I know that I have a lot to catch up with and comments to reply to but this week has been super busy between work, hospital intervention for my mom, minor surgery for me and finally, a big cold that’s having me shivering with a runny nose!
My mother had to have a colonoscopy and gastroscopy this week. As she is 82 and lives alon, the doctor asked her to go to the hospital the day before the exam. So of course, after my work day I went to see her, walking 3 km in extreme cold to go from the station to the hospital!
Everything is fine with her so that’s great news!
The day after, it was my turn to have a minor surgery to the hospital. That went well too.
And since Friday I have a cold that is leaving me with a runny nose, backache and hot flashes replaced by uncontrollable shivers. Sigh.
I am very rarely sick so I am complaining nonstop LOL
But I had a COVID test, negative, so that’s a good old cold here. Nothing to do but drink lots of fluid, take paracetamol and wait it out.
As per usual, I am leaving you with two reels.
One where I imagine what it would be to be on the train and have my seatmate reading the same book as me.
And the second is my Owlcrate unboxing after I have waited for weeks to get my boxes!

Oh wow when I saw the word hospital in the title at first I was very worried! Thank goodness it was a routine appointment for a test and a scheduled procedure. I’m glad it went well and that everyone is doing fine!

I am glad both yours and your mom hospital adventures went well! But sorry to hear about the cold… I caught a bad cold in November and I am not 100% back to normal yet… I hope you would be more lucky!!
Oh goodness, that’s a lot of health issues in one week. The cold/flu sounds miserable. It’s amazing how bad a cold can make you feel. I hope you get some relief this week.

I am so sorry that you have been experiencing some chills, hope you feel better soon. Drink lots of Orange Juice. My allergies have been bad though with the inversion we get here in Utah, in the states. So yeah its not fun.
