Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Happy Sunday!
Nothing very special happened this week except that spring feels so elusive! We had one day of sun and 24° celsius then it was back to rain, hail and 5 to 10° …
It feels like it’s rained non stop since October!
That’s why I decided to (finally) book our holiday to the South of France at the Cote d’Azure! We found a villa with a pool and hope that at least there, we’ll have some sun and heat!
As I worked a lot and was so tired that I went to bed very early every night, I didn’t catch up with your comments so now, I’ll do just that!
Well at least I have been industrious and filmed some reels this week that I will share with you here…
The first is about having pretty edges on books.
The second is all about what you can expect living with a bookworm….
And the last is what happens when your mother tells you that you can be anything….
On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)
I only posted one review this week! Going to Paris has slowed down my reading but that’s ok as I had a great time! First Lie Wins is an excellent thriller and a great audiobook!

And I posted my first update on the audiobook challenge (I hope to get there by the end of the year).

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Your edge painting is simply superb… I’m in awe! And a trip to the south of France later this year sounds fabulous – especially after such a cold, wet winter. Have a lovely week, Sophie:)).
Thank you so much!
That sounds like a wonderful vacation!
Oooh, I would love to go to South of France! Hope you post some pictures, Sophie! I loved First Lie Wins, too! Have a wonderful week!
I will post pictures in June Rachel ;-)
I’m envious of your holiday plans!
Wishing you warmer weather and good reading!
Our weather has been unseasonably cool over the weekend and today, so I’m ready for warmer weather and planting flowers and herbs. Your edges are gorgeous, Sophie!
Thank you Teri!
I know what you mean. I got very behind on Friday and am still trying to catch up. I love those painted edges – so beautiful!
Anne
Thank you Anne!
We have had rain but not hail. EEK! Fingers crossed the weather doesn’t follow you on your holiday.
I hope it doesn’t Sam!
I’m having a slow reading month too, must be something in the air!
It must be!
Its been so rainy here. I’m over it. But, by June/July I will be wishing for rain. Enjoy your holiday!
Thank you Samantha!
Rain, rain, and more rain here too! Ugh! I’m with you, Sophie, I want some sun already!
I think we’ll bask in it!
Loving the Fourth Wing attire. Our mid-year check-in is coming soon, and we are hosting a mini-challenge to celebrate Audiobook Month in June :)
