Hi Dear friends,

Today Collector of Book Boyfriends and I chose to feature books and authors with a movie adaptation.

This could not have been better as today I’ve learned that one of my favorite series ACOTAR will be made into a movie!!!!

Of course books often inspire movie directors and some of my favorite books have been made into movies. To name a few:

YA: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, The Host by the same author, The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, Divergent by Veronica Roth, Wonder by RJ Palacio, The Fault in our Stars by John Green and recently Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertally. I could go on and on!

Adult: A man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren  Weisberger, Confession of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella, Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre, etc.

But my winner of the day as I have to choose a winner is Suzanne Collins author of The Hunger Games series!

Yes I would have preferred someone else for Peta but I think Jennifer Lawrence was fabulous and President Snow was fantastic!

Here is one of the many trailers about the movie!

Now what would be your favorite movie adaptation?

Thanks for reading!

  1. I totally agree with your choice. In most of the movie adaptations, there are always too many things that are missing. I think Hunger Games was one of the few that I actually didn’t hate the movie because it ruins the story in the book 🙂

  2. I never read Hunger Games series but I loved all the movies. I’m so excited for ACOTAR’s movie adaptation. I hope they don’t mess it up!
