Confession time: I think I read my first somewhat erotic books when I was a teenager thanks to Harlequin publishing! You know they had these semi nude hot dudes on the cover with the shirt open and ravishing a lovely maiden or duchess or….

I read them in the temple of my bedroom  and avoided reading them on public transportation because it was frown upon and no ereader to mask the cover of my story!

Years later I discovered the genre properly thanks to E.L. James and her Fifty Shades of Grey!

Laugh all that you want or swoon if you are a fan but that woman opened doors and set a trend!

After FSOG it’s been Sylvia Day and her Crossfire series (Gideon!!!). But it was said to be a trilogy and when the fourth book was published I was so mad that I stopped reading her story!

See it’s been quite a path for me!

I fell in love with the Lord of the Manor Jesse Ward!

He was obssessive, possessive, very Alpha, super handsome and determined to make Ava fall for him. In the synopsis he is descibed like “a conceited, hedonistic playboy, who knows no boundaries.“. He was also flawed and hurt by a dramatic past so basically my favorite kind of hero! Don’t forget that he was also…kinky!!!!

Unfortunately I’ve read this book before reviewing anything so I can’t offer an excerpt of my review today but I’ll go with two quotes to give you an inkling of what this book feel:

Now the good news is that the fourth book will be published this month! Yes ladies and gents the Lord is back!

Know that this man series is not the only erotic series Jodi has written. I’ve read and loved her One Night series as well.
