Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl

in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s theme is book titles that would make for great song titles.

I LOVE that topic and I went further as I wanted to imagine what kind of song it would be and who would sing it! I chose only about books read this year.

Let’s do this!

Imagine Me would be a pop song, like a ballad and sang by John Lennon (yes yes I know he is dead but he would have been perfect for that one :-D)

With the Fire on High would be a rock song and the band would be …the Red Hot Chili Peppers of course 😆

Southern Storm would be a country song, between a ballad and something more catchy. The perfect band would be Lady Antebellum

Crush the King. That would be some indie rock and the band would be Muse!

Drowning in Stars would be a break up song. Talking about past moments and regrets. I could see Adele singing that one!

Good Girl, Bad Blood would be something like punk rock and sang by Green Day

Kingdom of the Wicked would be gothic metal and the perfect band would be Nightwish

Breathless that would probably a soundtrack for an erotic movie à la FSOG and the singer would be Ellie Goulding

Queen Move would be a pop song, catchy, bold, about girl power sang by Beyonce

When You Come Back to Me would be a love song, country probably, talking about second chances. The singer would be Sam Hunt.

What do you think? What book title would make for a great song?

Thanks for reading!

Sophie
