#BookBoyfriendChallenge 24
Day 24 in the BookBoyfriendChallenge and today is one of my favorite book boyfriends: sports! Don’t forget this challenge is organized by Night Owl Reader and by Collector of Book Boyfriends.
I’ve read many sportsromances featuring hockey players, MMA fighters, footballers, swimmers etc. so the trick today will be to choose one winner.
So here again I’ll go with several contestants and choose the big winner by the end.
Number 5: Colton Donovan from the Driven series by K. Bromberg
Race car driver he was a jerk sometimes but a broken jerk so my kind of flavor. Huge libido, does not do relationship and does not believe in love. But hey he’ll fall hard for his girl 😉
Favorite quote:
“You’ll never know your limits until you push yourself to them.”
― K. Bromberg, Driven
Nulber 4: Garret Graham from The Deal by Elle Kennedy
Garret was a sexy jock with great humor.
What I wrote about him:
“If Garrett is a jackass, he is honest, loyal, sexy and totally melts for Hannah. He loves her sass, her “I won’t take your crap” attitude and her love of bright colors.
She’ll make him chase her and it was fun to see this stubborn hockey player laying it on thick. He caught her, all right but he was also unexpectedly caught up with her, landing a grilfriend and it was not part of his plan.”
Favorite quote:
“She tries to take a step down the hall, but I tug on her hand and kiss her again, and this time it’s not a peck. I kiss her hard, losing myself in her taste and her heat and every damn thing about her. I never expected her. Sometimes people sneak up on you and suddenly you don’t know you ever lived without them.”
― Elle Kennedy, The Deal
Number 3: Drew Baylor from The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan
Star quarterback Drew is hot, sexy and witty. He is crazy about Ana. Drew is highly charismatic and you can’t help but to love him. He’s not your typical man-whore athlete. He has a big heart and is truly a great guy.
Favorite quote:
“I think you’re beautiful,” he says softly.
“Beauty fades,” I choke out.
“Not when it comes from inside.”
― Kristen Callihan, The Hook Up
Number 2: Jude from Crash series by Nicole Williams
I fell in love with Jude while reading this series years ago! He has a way with words that makes your heart ache.He loves Lucy with all that he has. He is so dedicated to her she is his life line.
Favorite quote:
“I know I’m one royal screw up, and god knows there’s nothing I could ever do to deserve you,” he began, taking my hand in his after sliding the ring free from the chain.
“But I want you, Lucy Larson. Bad. I want you forever. The kind of bad I have for you isn’t the kind that goes away.” His forehead lined, his eyes washing silver. “Ease my suffering. Make me the happiest, most tortured man in the world. Marry me?”
― Nicole Williams, Clash
And my winner is… Romeo Prince from Sweet Home by Tillie Cole
He is a damaged bad boy, all alpha-male and real protective of his girl. Rome is a swoony hero. He’s sweet with Molly, but he can also be broody, protective, possessive and all kinds of sexy.
I ate that story like I would eat chocolate ice cream: ravenously!
Favorite quote:
“I don’t remember Romeo being this pushy with Juliet!”…..He arched his eyebrows meaningfully. “And look at how that worked out for them. My way is better—less death, more orgasms.”
― Tillie Cole, Sweet Home

#BookBoyfriendChallenge Day 25
Today is the most difficult for me as I have never read a book about a sugar daddy ever!
Don’t throw rocks at me please.
So here I’ll go with one of the most famous recent books about sugar daddies.
The winner today based on my friend’s reviews is:
Beckett North from Sugar Daddy by Sawyer Bennett
If I’ve read right he is a hot alpha male who wants to make lots of naughty things to Sela. Some friend say he is a nerdy hottie (good right?).
Considering:
- That all my friends gave this book 4 to 5 stars;
- The blurb (see below);
I think it would be the right choice.
Synopsis:
“Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.
The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.”
Now have you read it? Enjoyed it? Know of better Sugar Daddies?

I haven’t read the Hookup or Crash but I can totally agree with the others! Good choices!!
Why thank you Trisy!
Yay, I love this challenge. Glad that you included The Deal in this list. It’s AWESOME!! H Tillie Cole creates awesome heroes. I’ve heard great things about Sweet Home but haven’t read it yet. Since you mentioned Crash, I need to check it out. I’ve had The Hookup for months but I haven’t got to read it. Lots of new books every week, I easily got distracted.
Well I’m also easily distracted by new books Geybie. And then suddenly I discover a hidden gem on my shelf 😉
Garrett, Rome and Drew are one sweet and hot triad! Oh, and about the sugar daddy, I read Bennett’s Sugar Bowl’s first two books and they’re really good. Beckett is not what you would expect from a sugar daddy and he’s really a great book boyfriend!
Well Talia he is on my list tomorrow LOL I have not read any Sugar Dady book so far but I’ve read tons of good reviews about this one! So what you are saying now just confirm my choice but shhhhh post only tomorrow.
Hmmmm time for me to get a new book boyfriend I think!
Great post Sophie! Thank you for giving me some new choices!!
Well I’m happy to please Susan! LOL
