#BookBoyfriendChallenge Day 7
Holy cow! Today’s flavor is cowboys! Yee haw!!!!
Not that I have read many books with cow boys but the one I’ve read made a lasting impression.
So today I’ll go with a favorite trio of country men.
You see I’m back from Colorado one of these States where rodeo can be found everywhere and riding horses is a day to day occurrence. I had my fill of cowboys and I can tell you some of them are indeed fine specimen!
They are usually tall: they have to climb on these tall, tall beasts we name horses.
They have broad shoulders and roped arms with bulging muscles: working on ranches makes for very fit men.
And don’t start me on their thighs so muscled as they have to squeeze them during long hours to lead their horses.
I nearly forgot the natural tan with working outside all year long.
So what’s not to like right?
So here comes my trio.
N°3 Ian MackKenzie from MacKenzie Fire by Elle Casey
I loved, loved , loved that story. It had me in fits of laughter and the hero was.. delicious!
Ian is sexy and charming even if he is bitter in the beginning of the story. He loves battling with the feisty heroine.
“I’ll let you win a battle or two, but I’ll be the one winning this war.”
“Babe, I can’t promise you that I’ll always be perfect, but I’ll do my straight best to try, and I’ll make it my life’s goal to always make sure you’re happy. All you’ve got to do is marry me, and I’ll do the rest”
Totally deserving to be on this winning trio.
N°2 #Justin #Garrison in Wild for You by Daisy Prescott
Sorry Ladies and Gents this one is an ARC that I’ve finished yesterday and you’ll have to wait next week to be able to enjoy his awesomeness.
Anyway he certainly deserves his second place among the contenders.
Justin is sexy, confident, caring, courageous, hard-working and protective. His crooked smile will make you swoon! He rides wild broncos so hello adrenaline!
Here is what the heroine Zoe thinks about him:
“And I’ve been wrong about cowboys. Belt bling might be my new favorite thing. A beacon, a lighthouse showing me the way through the darkness of the post-break up blues. Bigger than is polite for regular society, but not as obnoxious as a pro wrestling championship belt, the rodeo buckle is perfect. I feel like Goldilocks when she stumbled upon the bears’ house. Not too big, not too small. Just right. Or maybe it’s the men behind the buckle. Broad shoulders. Narrow waist. Biceps that can only be described as bulging. Speaking of bulges, the beacon of the buckle definitely draws my eyes to the obvious selling point for a pair of Wranglers.”
N° 1 Gavin “Mack” Mackenzie in Shine Not Burn by Elle Casey
Mack is my WINNER!!!
Here is what the female character thinks about him:
“I doubted at this point that I’d be able to string a coherent sentence together. His beauty combined with his slow-talking cowboy sexiness had completely robbed me of any intelligence.”
“Sweet Jesus, he’s hung. That’s some kind of magic. The way he somehow fits that thing into those pants.”
And here is what he vowed to the heroine so you tell me after if he does not deserve to be our winner of the day:
“I, Gavin MacKenzie, sexy cowboy man of Baker City, Oregon being of sound mind and hot body do hereby declare that I love you, Andie Marks, lawyer extraordinaire, and want to be married to you until I’m so old, I either die or my pecker falls off. I will have sex with you whenever you want, and I will always give you the option to be on top if that’s what will make you happy. Blowjobs will always be optional but appreciated. I will change diapers when called for, both for our children and for you when you’re old and decrepit. I will never spit in public or burp too loudly or say mean things about your friends. I promise never to raise my hand against you in anger or tell you that you’re useless or threaten to hurt people who you love. Ten-four, over and out, happily ever after. Those are my vows.”
By the way if you haven’t read Shine not Burn by Elle Casey you really should as it is a sweet, sexy romance.
And you do you love cowboys? What are your favorite ones?
Thank you for reading!
If You Love Cowboys Sable Hunters Hell Yeah! Series, great stories, drool worthy Cowboys and always strong females.
Thank you Cheryl!!! I’ll add it to my GR TBR 🙂
