Today is the last day of the bookboyfriends challenge and I did it every day!!!

I’m the first surprised.

It’s been a lot of work as I did not want to simply paste the cover of a book and give two words. No as a true overachieverΒ  I had to bring the big guns and post about contenders and one winner and… but that’s because:

1) I love so many book boyfriends (luckily for my hubby we are happily married for 21 years now so don’t worry I don’t have a harem in real life) πŸ˜€Β

2) I always had a hard time to choose (don’t come with me at the restaurant I’m a nightmare and always end looking for what’s in my neighbor’s plate);

3) I wanted to make “real” posts with contents that could amuse YOU or catch your interest;

4) I abide by the American saying “GO BIG OR GO HOME”. It’s always been my moto (in French you say: “Qui peut le plus peut le moins”. See it’s interesting to read my posts as now you’ve learnt some French)

Now that it’s been established that this month’s posting has been hard work I have to say that it has been SO MUCH FUN!

I have to thank Bex at Night Owl Reader Romance and the Ladies at Collector of Book Boyfriends for this amazing idea.

But I digress!

Let’s get to the matter at hand today: a book boyfriend who is a world traveler!

I had to dig deep in my memories as I did not recall having read about a world traveler but I found one!

My latest book boyfriend for this challenge is Kestrel from The Traveling Man by Jane Harvey-Berrick

Kestrel is the epitome of a traveler as he is a carnie and is always on the move.

Kestrel was complicated, proud, savage like a wild animal, never to be contained. He loved fiercely but could not say it. He was like an enigma one moment broody just to be the sweetest and sexies boyfriend soon after. What I liked was that the author did not prtray Kes as a perfect hero. His pride and resentment made him make some bad moves and it made him more “human” more real.

Favorite quote to symbolize Kestrel:

β€œI make mistakes and I move on. That’s what I do, that’s what I’ve always done. I leave, and other people leave. You’re the first person in my whole life who stayed. And then you were taken away. But now you’re here again … and you’re trying to leave me. That fucking hurts, too.”
― Jane Harvey-Berrick, The Traveling Man

And who is YOUR traveler Book Boyfriend?

If you’ve read all my Book Boyfriends posts THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
