I had some more days off work this week and I took the opportunity to follow a ceramic class!

I did it with a friend I met when I gave book edges painting lessons last year.

Two hours learning for the first time how to make something with clay.

I had the idea to make a light ball (the teacher does a lot of these) on the theme of Sorcery of Thorns.

So I ended up making that light ball (there is a hole at the basis to add a candle or..) with the inscription “Sir Fluffington” and a cat on top (symbolizing Silas for those who have read SoT).

The piece must dry for weeks first before being cooked in the oven and glazed but here are already some pictures of that project.

I tried to give the cat a bit of an attitude with chin pointed up and the tail at an angle, quite like they see a fly on a window and go all hunter.

I also had dinner with a friend I hadn’t seen in months.

We ate sushi and talked for hours and that was great!
