Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Happy Sunday!
Last week was hard at work and I am glad to be on holiday for two weeks!
I just have a migraine since Friday, first day of my holiday and typical destress migraine…
Tomorrow I am headed to Normandy with my husband while the grown-up kids will be house sitting. I hope they won’t party too hard in the house LOL
I had a peek at the weather there and it is set to rain the whole week! Oh well, at least we won’t melt from the heat like Spain, Italy and Greece do at the moment. And the weather is ever changing along the sea so we’ll take our rain jackets, jeans, sweater and we will go for long walks.
We don’t have any plan (not like London when I had many things mapped out) except visit the Mount Saint Michel and improvise.
Having a migraine sucks as I wanted to write reviews (among others for the amazing Hello Stranger by Katherine Center) but am unable to focus on words. And I still want to plan content for next week so we’ll see how it will go!
I still managed, thanks to painkillers, to paint new edges yesterday, choice of my followers on Instagram: The Lost Heir.
I was able to use @nikittysan ‘s model of Suren (go visit her account) to draw my own Suren and she has all my thanks!

Sorry for the bad lighting, the colors are more vibrant but as you can see, it’s raining here too!
On the blog this week (click in the graphic to read the post)
Not a lot published, only two reviews because of the migraine. One of them is a rant and one is a book that had me bawl like a baby! A must read!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Very pretty painting! I think the colors are plenty vibrant!
Thank you MOgsy!
I hope you’re feeling better now and enjoying your time in Normandy. Your latest painted edges look gorgeous, as always.
I did thank you!
Sorry about the migraine, hope you’re feeling better now, Sophie! And wishing you a great time in Normandy!
Thank you Lindsey!
I’d also rather have the rain that all that heat, Sophie. Hope you’re feeling better, and have a great vacation!
I hope you are enjoying your time in Normandy… without the migraine! Your latest painted edges are so gorgeous!!
Normandy sounds fabulous. Mont St Michel is on my list of places to go…
I love the drawn edges on your book. It turned out amazing!
Mount Saint Michael was beautiful. When we were there years ago, it was so hot though. walking all those stairs in the heat was not good. So, the hubby and I stayed in the lower town area and had frozen cocktails! My favorite vacation spot is near there-St. Malo! We simply fell in love with the area.
ugh migraines. It’s awesome you had the time to go to England and then 2 more weeks to vacation. I hope you have a lovely trip with not all rain.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Migraines are the worst! I hope that you have a great time on your trip. The edges that you painted on that book are gorgeous!
I hope your migraine goes away, Sophie! Those are the worst! I hope you have fun in Normandy! I don’t mind if it’s raining on vacation. It makes for a cozy trip. It was actually nice when our adult son lived with us because I didn’t have to worry about someone taking care of our cat when we went on vacation. Hope you post some pics when you get back!
I went to Mont Saint Michel when I was in high school (ages ago!) and brought back a plaster gargoyle which I still have, and it sits on top of a bookcase now. I love the painted edges!
I hope you have a wonderful trip and that the weather is kind to you.
Have a lovely trip Sophie, hopefully migraine free!
