Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .Â
In my private life
Happy Sunday!
Very late post for me as I have been to my mother because she is sick for the first time in nearly forty years!
She is coughing and has fever and no medication! So I gave her anything I could find home and she’ll go to the doctor tomorrow.
Last week, before being sick, we went to watch One Life in the theater. I totally recommend it and the crowd applauded by the end of the movie! What I love with my mom is that she prefers watching in VO even if she doesn’t speak one word of English! She just reads the subtitles ;-)
Last week’s reels are a mix bag!
The first is what would happen if superheroes were bookworms!
The second is painting edges of Brothersong!
And the third is about what I mean by arms day ;-)

As it’s the first weekend of March I will give you my best reads of February.
I have read 11 books in February and have four favorites, House of Flame and Shadow being the big winner!
And the big winner is….
I’ll catch up with everyone tomorrow after work, I promise!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

What a week! I’ll check out that movie. And I hope your mom is recovering well!
She was untill her allergy crisis…
Hope your mom is feeling better by now!
She is but she had anoth ailment …
One Life sound like an amazing movie.
Have a great week.
Thank you!! You too!
I LOVE watching your painting of the pages – they are beautiful:)). And I hope your mother soon recovers. She must have one heck of an immune system! Have a great week, Sophie.
Thank you and yes my mom has an excellent immune system!
I sympathies with your mother, but admit I am jealous that she hasn’t been sick in 40 years. Good for her. Hopefully it’s a little bug and she is back to herself in no time.
I am jealous too Kimberly LOL
I hope your mother feels better soon
She does a little already Tammy !
I hope your mother recovers quickly.
Beautiful edges as always!
The Crescent City series is on my TBR, I have the first two books and need to pick up the third.
Wishing you a great reading week
Thank you Shellyrae!
The edges of the Klune book are stunning, Sophie! Sure hope your mom’s feeling better.
Thank you Teri!
My best wishes for your mom’s speedy recovery!
And I understand her preference for watching movies or shows in the original version: over the years I have become quite allergic to dubbing… ;-)
Same here! My husband is the only one who asks for dubbing!
I’m so sorry your mom is sick. I hope all goes well at the doctor and that she recovers quickly!

Thank you!
Oh, no! I hope all goes well at the doctor for mom. I saw your arms day reel on IG. That was hilarious.
Yay I am so happy to make you laugh Sam!
I hope your mother is better soon!
She already feels a little bit better today Greg.
I hope your mother feels better, Sophie! It’s so worrisome when a parent gets sick!
Exactly Rachel especially when she is never sick!
I hope your Mom feels much better soon. It’s good you could help her. Are stores not open on Sunday there? It wouldn’t matter for me as I have a whole cabinet of supplies. My daughter has things frequently but for me I just have to throw it out and replace it when it expires because I don’t need anything very often. I’m glad to see you enjoyed the Sarah J Maas book. I read a bit of the first book but I’ve been collecting them because I really enjoyed it.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
No stores are closed on Sunday but some chemists are open if we really need emergency medicine.
Sorry your mom is ill! Hopefully she recovers quickly!
That’s what I hope too Samantha!
