Dear friends,

 

I want to apologize today as I won’t comment and like your posts this Friday. I promise to catch up tomorrow with your incredible posts, First Line Friday included but today I WANT TO READ!!!!

I’m engrossed in my pre-ARC of In Harmony by Emma Scott and I just don’t want to stop but binge read.

So I hope you’ll forgive me and I promise to answer all your comments and comment aplenty tomorrow on your blogs. I love reading all that you post but today is my reading date.

 

Back to First Line Friday

 

First Line Friday is a weekly event hosted by Hoarding Books.

It’s really easy all you have to do is open the book that you are reading or the first book you get your hands on, open it and write the first lines.

It would be fantastic of course if you could visit the other participants and comment on their posts. Comments are blogger’s currency LOL

 

Here are my lines from of course In Harmony:

 

“Tell me a story.” Grandma smiled through a mess of wrinkles and brushed a lock of wavy blonde hair off my brow. “Another? Three books weren’t enough?”

“Not a book story. One of your stories.”

 

The grandma will tell a tale about a  Little Light. She was born on the wick of a tall white candle. She lived among thousands other flames. One day all the other flames were stuffed out. The Little Light was alone in the dark. For a long time.

She was alone long anough “to discover that she may have been one light among many, but she had her own fire.”

Today dear friends I want you to find your own fire.

  3. I don’t think book bloggers are ever going to judge you for wanting to read. Isn’t that the entire point?

    I’ve got the first line from The Saturday Night Supper club up on my blog, and I’m currently reading another great contemporary romance – Paper Hearts by Courtney Walsh. She’s one of my new favourite authors. Here’s the first line:

    “I can’t believe she did this to me again.” Abigail Pressman stared at the computer screen in disbelief.
