Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is : Completed series I wish had more books
You’ll find two types of lists today! Real series (as in more than one book) that I indeed had more books or books about side characters (like Manon Blackbeak).
And standalones that I wish were series or at least had a companion novel!
First: the series

Second: the standalones

I’d love to know how these characters live after “the end”! Will Elizabeth and Nathaniel end together? How will the kids grow up with Linus? The Maid could become a cozy mystery series, a little bit like Finlay Donovan. And I want to know if Josh and Skylar achieve their dreams and what becomes of them!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Completely agree with Hush, Hush and Throne of Glass!
Yay!
Currently reading The House in the Cerulean Sea and I can see why you’d want more of it!!! Great list! 😀
Oooh that makes me so happy Lashaan!
Oh I forgot about Manon but I would LOVE a spinoff for her too! And more House in the Cerulean Sea, yes please 🙂
Right?
Standalones can be rough and why I don’t read them often is I always want more, they hardly keep me satisfied haha You have a great list here though. I love Klune’s work.
TJ Klune is a master storyteller!
I’m glad that we will be getting more Sorcery of Thorns after all. I love that book so much!
Same Stephanie!
I’d love a continuation of The House in the Cerulean Sea – loved those characters with my whole heart. More Six of Crows would be a dream come true!
I’d love to see how the kids grow up Teri!
I want to read The Maid (and a series sounds fabulous).
The Maid was absolutely amazing!
I would absolutely love another book in the Cerulean Sea world!
Right Suzanne?
Oooh you’ve reminded me I need to read The Maid!
Yes please Tammy! Do it!
I recently saw something about a third book for SoC. I think it’s years away, but it seems like a thing. It would be nice to catch up with Sky and Josh.
It’s in January Sam! Like a companion novel after the end! I already preordered it!
Yes, yes, yes to I’ll Meet You There. Oh how I would love to check in on Sky and Josh.
Right Tanya???
All for the Game, yaaaaas!
I was surprised you didn’t list it Caro ;-)))
Me too!!! I don’t know why I didn’t!
