Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Happy Sunday
It’s been another very busy week at work but also one filled with questions!
You know that we went, Beware of the Husband and I to the South of France some weeks ago. The heat, like nearly everywhere in Europe was unbearable.
When we went for some walks the first days, my husband’s heartbeat was way too fast and we had to change our plans.
To be on the safe side, he asked for an appointment with the cardiologist and went this week.
Well, it seems that what happened can’t be explained by the heat and now we has to wear different devices to monitor his blood pressure, heart etc for some weeks. After that, we’ll see what the problem is.
He also must lose weight, try to avoid adding salt to his meals, drink way less coffee and only do moderate sports like walking, swimming etc.
On the bright side, if it was very serious, the doctor wouldn’t have allowed him to go back home. On the bright side too, he is now walking with me once a day so it’s more time together. Also on the bright side, he took the right decision asking for that appointment and that’s better than people not knowing there is a problem before it’s very serious!
So not very funny or light news this week but I believe that everything will be fine again! Positive thinking here!

I published two reviews this week for books I really liked and a post I am very happy is Robin Roe’s interview!!! I have since read her last book Dark Room Etiquette and it is outstanding!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

I’m sorry to hear your husband is having some health worries, but it’s indeed good that he went to the doctor and hopefully those changes will make all the difference!
Thank you Lindsey!
I’m really glad your hubby went to the doctor and hope that those lifestyle changes will make all the difference. Have a great week!
You too Suzanne!
So glad your husband got seen by a doctor, and is having tests. You cannot be too careful these days when it comes to our health. I hope it all gets sorted.
Me too Alex!

I hope everything goes ok for you and your husband my friend! Sending healing vibes to you both!!!
Thank you Trisy!
Awesome job getting to the doctor and going through the steps for answers! I sincerely hope they find the issue and that the changes he is making get everything in order. 🙂
Thank you Vicki!
I’m glad to hear your husband is making some changes for the better. I also loved Love on the Brain.
It’s such a great book Anne!
I’m glad your husband got checked out. Heart problems are nothing to trifle with!
Indeed Samantha!
I’m sorry to hear about your husband, but I’m so glad he went to the doctor!
Me too Tammy!
I’m glad your husband went to the doctor. I think it’s wise that he did. Good luck to him as he starts to exercise more and hopefully feel better! 😀 Have a great week!
Thank you Jenni Elyse!
I hope all goes well for the husband. It is definitely on the bright side that he is adopting healthier habits, and it’s nice you two can spend more time together. Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious.
That’s what we hope Sam!
Good on your husband for actually going to the doctor! Most of the people I know would rather not, even if it’s serious.
Good luck to your husband and glad he went in! I’ve had heart problems myself (runs in the family) so the most important thing is talking that first step and seeing the cardiologist.
Be well this week.
Thank you Greg!
Here’s hoping that all is sorted with the health issues. Your books look tempting, and enjoy your week!
Thank you Laurel!
I hope they get to the bottom of your husband’s issues very soon – but how encouraging that he immediately sought help and is now taking on board the health advice he’s been given. In the meantime, I hope the coming week is a good one for both of you.
Thank you! And I hope you have lots of energy this week!
Hope all is all ok with BofH ❤️❤️❤️
We’ll see in one month Caro!
