Last week has been Hell weather wise! Seriously we were all boiling , feeling like living in hell’s pit!
My country as most European countries is not used to warm temperature and we don’t have air conditoned. So when the temperatures go over 35 degrees celsius, houses become so hot it’s unbearable.
I worked with my feet in a basin with water and ice! And I spent my time putting wet towels on my dogs.
Sleep was hard and I took two showers a day.
Needless to say I will be happy when this will be over!
And tomorrow we are going to a spa… with hot water. Nooo! I had booked the appointment for me and my son as a gift for Christmas , not knowing this would be so hot.
Oh well at least we will have a long massage.
As usual, I am leaving you with two reels.

And the second is what happens when people ask me to go out but I can’t take my books.

I have been following the news about your heat wave in Europe. I would not survive without my AC, so I’m sorry you are all dealing with that! We’ve been having what is our normal heat wave here this time of year. Thankfully I do have AC. I like your last video! I know if I don’t have a book with me these days, I have my Kindle app on my phone to read the egalley I’m currently reading or else just one of the many freebie ebooks I continue to get, lol. I heard about the heat sweeping across Europe! Hope you are all keeping safe. We are going to hit 35c/95f later this week and I’m going to have to make sure my kids stay hydrated at camp. Me, if I am going to be outside it’s going to be at my gym by the pool!
I feel for you, Sophie. I couldn’t live without my A/C. Hope the heat breaks soon and you get some relief.
I hope you stay safe in the heat!! In the US, we are used to it and everywhere has AC. So when we get in the upper 90’s to 100’s, its bearable.
I am in Oregon and we’re just out of a heatwave ourselves. It’s miserable!
A mom/son spa day. How fun! I hope you two have a wonderful and relaxing time. I think your heat is heading our way this week. We are showing three days over 100 here. I have to work in the office those days too, so I am hoping for the best with the train.
Many trains were canceled this week because of the heat!
I hate heatwaves, and I’m sorry you’re going through one, especially with no air conditioning Hang in there, hopefully it will end soon!
