Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

This week at work has been busy but good so that’s a nice reprieve from all the previous tension!

And I just have one more week of work before enjoying three weeks off!

I will go to YALC London with my daughter and I can’t wait!

Even if she recently worried me saying that there is an explosion of bed bugs in Paris and London and that we’d have to put our clothes in the freezer for two days when we’d get back. That or the drier or wash them at 60° …

So anyone who knows how to repel bed bugs to have us enjoy a nice stay, feel free to give me your advices!

And as today’s title suggests, I have been honing my skills at making reels this week!

The first is an “easy one” , telling everyone what I hope Iron Flame will be.

But this one is a whole other level! I wanted to try that “umbrella” transition for months!

So what do you think of it?

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

Just two reviews this week.

One is in French.

And the other is an amazing sequel!

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. What is up with all the bed bugs?! I’ve been seeing stories about them all over the place. Yuck!

  2. I always love your reels, but that umbrella transition is VERY awesome indeed! I hope you’ll have a great 3 weeks off and a lot of fun at YALC (and no bed bugs at all)!

  3. I thought the umbrella transition worked really well:)). And I’m also waiting for that particular book. But I also notice you have read and loved The Shadow Cabinet – I’m LOVING that series and now desperately waiting for the next book! Juno Dawson is a fantastic writer – I’ve also seen her talking about books and writing and she’s marvellous – so lively and articulate.

  4. Oh, yuck! Aren’t you renting a place, not staying in a hotel? That could be a good thing if there is a bed bug epidemic. I always check the mattress/box spring for signs of the little pests when I stay somewhere. Despite all that, I do hope you have an incredible and safe trip
