Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
Happy Sunday!
This week at work has been busy but good so that’s a nice reprieve from all the previous tension!
And I just have one more week of work before enjoying three weeks off!
I will go to YALC London with my daughter and I can’t wait!
Even if she recently worried me saying that there is an explosion of bed bugs in Paris and London and that we’d have to put our clothes in the freezer for two days when we’d get back. That or the drier or wash them at 60° …
So anyone who knows how to repel bed bugs to have us enjoy a nice stay, feel free to give me your advices!
And as today’s title suggests, I have been honing my skills at making reels this week!
The first is an “easy one” , telling everyone what I hope Iron Flame will be.
But this one is a whole other level! I wanted to try that “umbrella” transition for months!
So what do you think of it?
On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)
Just two reviews this week.
One is in French.
And the other is an amazing sequel!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

What is up with all the bed bugs?! I’ve been seeing stories about them all over the place. Yuck!
I avoid these stories to be honest! I am too scared lol
I always love your reels, but that umbrella transition is VERY awesome indeed! I hope you’ll have a great 3 weeks off and a lot of fun at YALC (and no bed bugs at all)!
Thank you!!!
I think your reel making skills are amazing! I hope you have a fantastic bedbug-free time at YALC.
Me too! 🙂
I thought the umbrella transition worked really well:)). And I’m also waiting for that particular book. But I also notice you have read and loved The Shadow Cabinet – I’m LOVING that series and now desperately waiting for the next book! Juno Dawson is a fantastic writer – I’ve also seen her talking about books and writing and she’s marvellous – so lively and articulate.
I am also waiting for the next book! And I hope she’ll be on a discussion panel at YALC then!
I’m reading a book right now that refers to bed bugs and I’m totally creeped out! Hopefully you won’t have any issues
Eeeek! I’ll avoid that book then Suzanne LOL
I always enjoy your reels, Sophie – I have no idea how to create any of those effects.
Thank you Teri! That’s quite fun and not so difficult to be honest!
Bed bugs? Yeeeew! I mean I live in England and I haven’t heard about this here! But if its true, that is gross!!!
Well let’s hope Caro that I won’t meet them LOL
Oh no, I hope you guys avoid a bed bug infestation. Never had experience with them myself, but I know they’re not pleasant!
I hope to too Mogsy!
I hope that you will be able to avoid any bed bugs on your trip. Yuck! I am beyond excited about Iron Wing! Have a great week!
You too Carole!
You did a great job. I have been working on my reels as well.
Hope you stay bed bug free when you travel.
Thank you Hena!
Aren’t bed bugs a pain? So ridiculous. I’m afraifd to travel now half the time becasue of it. But have a great trip anywho!!
Thank you Greg!
Three weeks off is awesome. I hope you have a great time and avoid the bedbugs.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Thank you Anne!
Oh, yuck! Aren’t you renting a place, not staying in a hotel? That could be a good thing if there is a bed bug epidemic. I always check the mattress/box spring for signs of the little pests when I stay somewhere. Despite all that, I do hope you have an incredible and safe trip
I hope too Sam and yes I am renting an appartment!
Good for you to create some reels! I hope that you have a quick work week and a wonderful holiday away!
Thank you!
I loved the umbrella reel! Very cool! Hopefully the hotels are prepared and have procedures in place to stop bed bugs. It is certainly bad for business!
No idea what to do about the Bed Bugs, but to follow recommendations to the letter. Does the hotel/motel have to disclose if they have an outbreak?
I guess so and I haven’t heard anything so I hope it’s good!
