Hi dear friends!
Today is a free day from Top 5 Tuesday as Shanah is enjoying some family time for two weeks so I thought that I would do a different but fun post.
Last year I betted that I could recommend you books based on your favorite fall drink and this year we will look at some classic fall activities.
Let’s do a “if you like” then “you’ll like” and see if my predictions are right πΒ
First Fall activity: football season!
If you love watching a football game that may be for the challenge and supporting some friends or family but that also may be because you love looking at these hot and muscled calves/thighs/butts/abs …. π
If that’s your favorite activity I would recommen … sportsromances!
You’ll find the adrenaline and hotness in these stories.
My favorites are:
When Fall is upon us, the woods wear glorious colors so if you are like me and love walking in the woods and connect with nature I would totally recommend books with earthy creatures. Deep connection to their inner beast or inhabitants of the woods like shifters and fae!
My favorite shifter and fae stories that I would recommend are:
Special mention for a splendid book about nature and human adventure that could also please nature lovers:
If your idea of fun is going to pumpkin feasts and Fall markets you love celebrating with friends, family and neighbors. You adore exchanging pleasantries and catching up on the latest gossip. Being part of a community and making memories for the kids is important for you.
I would totally recommend book with great communities and small town vibe!
Some of my favorites are:
Another great activity in Fall is walking in corn mazes and entering spooky barns, especially on Halloween night!
If you love getting spooked and being frightened by big bad things hiding in dark corners I bet you’d love books with a spooky or gothic vibe!
I would totally recommend:
Cosplaying and trick or treating with the kids is your most favorite passtime this season?
Then I bet that you love YA fantasy with lots of action, a little bit of love and big dose of humor!
Here are some recommendations for you:
Now if you find the air quite chill and use any excuse to stay inside close to the fire, drinking hot cocoa to read a book you would definitely need something cosy and contemporary, a cozy mystery or maybe a good old fashion mystery/crime?
Some ideas here:
And if you dream of baking pumpkin pies and carrot cakes with ginger you would be drawn to books with a warm and sweet feel. Also books with great families and sibblings relationships as we often bake for our kids or husband. Maybe books with some creative main character like artists or chefs or … Some romcom too!
My recommendations for you would be:
That’s it!
Now you tell me: am I right?
Thanks for reading!
Sophie
I love staying at home with a warm drink during autumn. And winter. I guess I’d stay at home every season if I had the chance. =P Anyway, I’m dying to read Sorcery of Thorns and The Raven Boys. I guess I know what I’ll be doing while staying at home this autumn. π
Happy readings!

I love these kinds of posts!! I can’t pick a favorite category but I think you picked the perfect books for each one <3
Thank you Brittany!!!
You nailed it for me with Wicked Saints and The Raven Boys!
Yes!!!
OMG!!! I LOVE this post, I never added books to my TBR so fast there are many on your list that sound amazing, thanks for this wonderful post β€οΈ
Thank you Sofii!!!
I don’t like football, but I LOVE sports romances. Callihan’s series is one of my favorites.
Ha! So I am not too far from the mark π
I enjoyed The Hook Up so much! I definitely need to read more from Kristin Callihan. And Devney Perry is an author that is high on my list to try (hopefully before the end of the year).
Glad I guessed right Tanya!!!
I love my nature and walking through the woods – so I do love An Enchantment of Ravens but didn’t like The Cruel Prince at all
Well The Cruel Prince is in many shades of grey indeed …
Cardan is very abusive and cruel and as someone who came out of an abusive relationship, I couldn’t get on board with him
So right! You nailed me on several of these. This was such fun:)
Happy to entertain Laura!
100% right!
Thank you Susan! π
