Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .
In my private life
This week I didn’t feel like blogging or writing reviews.
Maybe I am in blogging/reviewing slump but all I wanted to do is read.
So that’s what I did with just one scheduled post.
Sorry if I didn’t blog hop…
It might also be related to my dog waking me five times a night for weeks now! She is old and feels anxious at night. She is now deaf and her sight has become very bad.
My dog spends her night wandering in the house, looking for us, barking for nothing and asking to go outside.
I was exhausted!
I went to the ostheopath with her and she suggested to give her CBD. That’s what we’ve been doing for some days now and it seems working as she doesn’t wake me up as often. So, fingers crossed because that’s absolutely exhausting and saps the life out of me!
As usual, I am leaving you some reels…
The first is an Olympic unboxing…
And the second is me prefering books to people
On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)
As I said, just one review but for a very emotional book!

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Ohnooo yeah I bet it’s exhausting- my male love to do that peeing in the middle of the night, better not feed him watermelons or he’ll keep me up all night! And then the female wakes me up at 7 almost on the dot for food
I can so relate to just wanting to read without blogging and reviewing. Hence my hiatus! :) Hope you have a great week, Sophie!
Oh your poor dog. Can she sleep with you? I hope you get more sleep this week!
I felt the same way last week, Sophie. I just wanted to read, and real life stuff kept getting in the way. Hope the CBD allows you to get some sleep.
Sorry about the pup. It’s difficult when they get old. All of my dogs did the same thing. They’d pace all night and want to go outside. I hope the CBD helps!
Oh I might try the CBD thing!! Our oldest dog is 15 and she pees and poops inside at night, then wakes us up to clean it. It’s very annoying. She also wants to get up at 4:30 and that is unacceptable (the alarm goes off a 5 am so once she gets us up, we are up for the day). I will do everything I can to keep her with us as long as possible though.
Sorry to hear the pup is disturbing your sleep, but I am over here crying for the dog. It’s so hard when they get older. This is not your job. You should blog when you want to.
I hope your dog feels better soon and that you get more peaceful nights, Sophie!
