Hi dear friends,
Can’t Wait Wednesday/Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Wishful Endings and was previously hosted by Breaking the Spine. It was created to show off a future release that you are excited for.
So what’s the book?
This week is not YA but it’s a book I’ve been waiting for three years now! Or rather it’s been three years since I’ve read “All the Ugly and Wonderful Things” by Bryn Greenwood and that I awaited impatiently for her next novel!
That book was very provocative and I have been bashed as a reviewer for giving a great review as the topic was indeed sensitive!
But next August she will release: The Reckless Oath We Made
Synopsis
A provocative love story between a tough Kansas woman on a crooked path to redemption and the unlikeliest of champions, from the New York Times bestselling author of All the Ugly and Wonderful Things
Zee is nobody’s fairy tale princess. Almost six-foot, with a redhead’s temper and a shattered hip, she has a long list of worries: never-ending bills, her beautiful, gullible sister, her five-year-old nephew, her housebound mother, and her drug-dealing boss.
Zee may not be a princess, but Gentry is an actual knight, complete with sword, armor, and a code of honor. Two years ago the voices he hears called him to be Zee’s champion. Both shy and autistic, he’s barely spoken to her since, but he has kept watch, ready to come to her aid.
When an abduction tears Zee’s family apart, she turns to the last person she ever imagined–Gentry–and sets in motion a chain of events that will not only change both of their lives, but bind them to one another forever.
What book can’t you wait to read this Wednesday?

Wow, a book you’ve waited three years for! I don’t know anything about this author or novel, but I’m intrigued by your description of provocativeness – makes me wonder!
Oh her previous one cause a huge turmoil Mogsy!
I hope you enjoy this Sophie!
It makes me mad though that people bashed you for enjoying the previous book… What’s the point of having independent thoughts if people are only ‘allowed’ to feel a certain way about something? The world would be incredibly pointless…
Exactly Nicci! But we can’t please everyone so …
I can’t wait. for Richard Kadrey’s book due out June 11.
Less than one month Jen!
Well, it certainly sounds intriguing, Sophie! 😀
