Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s TTT topic is: Favorite heroines
OK once again, I can’t promise to stop at ten. Well who am I kidding, I won’t stop at ten LOL
It seems I have several types of favorite heroines! You have the
Funny/sarcastic ones like: Nina Zenik, Miss Fresh or Finlay Donovan

Then we get the spunky, snarky survivors (some even call them b!tches) like Alex Stern, Nesta and Zetian

Then we have the healers/carers. These women really love caring for others, soothing their souls and bruises like Yrene, Molly Grey and Naomi.

Now comes the scientists and rational minds. These have a sharp intellect and are very driven. Like Stella, Audrey Rose or Elizabeth Zoth

Then come the enthusiasts! These are unflappable, take any paranormal phenomenon in stride and love going on adventures. They also don’t mind being seen as the odd ones. They also are very reliable and loyal. Like Elisabeth Scrivener and Abigail Rook.

Do we have some in common?
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

So many amazing heroines! I love how you categorized them and can only agree completely with so many of these!
Yay!!
I’m just nodding my head yes as I scroll through your list because they are all such fabulous picks. 🙂
Thank you Suzanne!
This makes me want to read another Bardugo book right now! 😀
Be my guest Lashaan!
Yes to all of these! (Disclaimer – I haven’t read all of them….yet!!!)
Not yet Caro??? I am surprised LOL
The only one that I have read on your list is The Kiss Quotient, and I did enjoy that one when I read it! I just love solid leading ladies! If written well, I just fall in love with them. And just another reminder that I need to read that Amy Harmon and the ripper one. lol I promise I will get to them
Pinky promise Renee? LOL
It was hard to stop at ten! I just downloaded Finlay from my library and am looking forward to diving into her story!
I hope you’ll love it Rachel!
Elizabeth was one of the first characters to pop into my head. I like how you broke them out into groups too.
Elizabeth is incredible isn’t she?
I love seeing Naomi included! She was so resilient and had such inner strength. I loved her story.
Me too Tanya! It’s one of my favorite from Amy!
