New Job and December Wrap-Up

Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer . 

As this is the last Sunday of January, this will also be my December wrap-up.

In my private life

First I would like to already wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy Sunday!

This truly is a happy end of the year for me as I found a new job!

You might remember that some weeks ago I told you how I had to find a new job well, I did! I’ll also be working in the field I really wanted to so now I am impatient to begin! And I can even keep my part time and that’s truly the cherry one top!

I feel so relieved to end 2024 on such a positive note!

Also today begins my two weeks of holiday so double cheer!

December wrap-up (click on the graphic to read the post)

I have read nine books in December, less than usual but with the celebrations and me being very tired that was to be expected! Yet I had great reads! So many in facts that I am having five favorites and across many genres!

The first is Defiant by Brandon Sanderson. That was an epic conclusion to a stunning series! It’s a scifi.

The Beantown Girls is a WWII fiction that I truly loved as well!

A Midwinter’s Tail was an enthralling Christmas novelle mixing contemporary fiction with a dash of mythology and magic.

Another Christmas novella is Lovelight Farms. It’s a contemporary romane with one of my favorite book boyfriends: Luka!

And the last one was the much awaited sequel to Divine Rivals: Ruthless Vows! It’s a mix of fantasy, mythology and maybe dystopian…

  9. I am so happy to see such a high rating for that Brandon Sanderson, he and his wife are the coolest people ever!!!

    Yeah December is always a low reading month for me, I tend to always just read my old favorites normally because I am just too busy to be invested in books otherwise unless its short Christmas novellas.

    Love that Ruthless Vows was such a rating for you there. It makes me even more excited to read it knowing how much you loved these books. The kindle book was EXPENSIVE
