Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .Â

Happy Sunday!
I skipped last Sunday because as predicted, my life is still extremely busy with work and now…cleaning every day as we took down the kitchen!
Last Saturday the kitchen was taken down.
On Sunday my husband dismanteled the wall tiles and I then spent 5 hours on my knees with a small brush cleaning the joints between every tile on the floor (the hidden floor now visible had much lighter joints!)
Then, every day after work, my husband has been plastering and sanding and I have been cleaning afterward! And cleaning the whole house as usual…
I end up every day so exhausted that I fall asleep around 9:30 PM…
But the good news is that it’s only temporary and by mid November we’ll have a whole new kitchen!
As a reward, I went yesterday to the cinema with my mom (yes I am at that age that I am not ashamed to go to the cinema with my mom ;-) ). I heard that Kate Winslet had filmed a new movie about a famous WWII photographer.
It was an extremely good movie! I am leavin you the trailer (enjoy).
And as we are about sharing favorites, I discovered a new favorite song! Well I have known that song for decades but the reinterpretation blew me away!! Listen till the end but I think that YUNGBLUD did an OUTSTANDING interpretation!
As usual, I am leaving you with some reels (I had these recorded weeks ago before all hell broke lose LOL).

Good luck with the new kitchen Sophie! It sounds like a lot of work now, but I hope it’ll all be worth it when it’s ready and installed. Also, I love that Yungblud cover too!

Glad to hear the Kate Winslet movie is good. It’s on my list and I hope it comes to a streaming service that I subscribe to soon.

I’m glad the work progresses. I enjoy the planning part, and the after part. But the actual renovation is messy.

After all that you totally deserved a night out with your mom. Painted the house a few weeks ago and the house was such a mess, I was so exhausted after all of that, I can’t even imagine how tired you would be redoing a kitchen.
