Hi friends,

Today is Sunday, time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week in and out of the blog. As usual I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly @caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Well not much to tell this week.

Just that I enjoyed my last week of staycation in taking lots of pictures and making yet another reels (link below) while I am grooving on Mark Ronson with other bookstagrammers.

I am beginning to master that video editing thing! 😀

Here is the link if you are curious : https://www.instagram.com/p/CH3R8z_ANB4/

I also listened to a very long audiobook (29 hours) in three days only as I just wanted to know how it ended (more next week).

And I took the time to write personalized cards and wrap gifts for my colleagues. See the picture below.

I only have three more boxes to go but I am waiting for them to give me their address (this is not madatory of course but in lockdown, if they want all the Belgian chocolate, I need their address).

It only took me 10 minutes to figure out how to build a box 😆

And next week I’ll announce my yearly challenge for December : Best Reads of 2020.

This year I will be joined by a bunch of other bloggers and bookstagrammers who will host with me.

It means daily posts on Instagram and on the blog from December 1st till 31st gushing about our favorite reads of the year!

I am going back to work tomorrow, well homeworking, and even if I had three weeks break I would have loved even more. I guess I am just greedy!

On the blog last week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I have only reviewed two books because I felt sooo lazy even if I have read a third one but that I decided not to review this time.

The Camelot Betrayal by Kiersten White was a good sequel toThe Guinevere Deception. This is an imaginative rendering of the Arthurian Legend.

Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston was a pure delight to listen to! I wondered why I had waited so long to read it!

Just one other post in the Top 5 Tuesday that became a “more than 5” post because I loved the idea of talking about books I was glad I had read! That gave me the opportunity to feature some books that I rarely do.

Last bit of fun: if you want a quiz, Epic Reads has one to guess: WHAT ROLE YOU’D PLAY IN A FAE COURT take the etst here: https://www.epicreads.com/blog/fae-court-role-quiz/

My results : “You are tragically, unfortunately … Human

Yeah… good luck. The fae world may seem cool and all but odds are you’re in wayyyy over your head. if you get get out, DO IT. If you insist on staying, well, don’t say we didn’t warn you…” 😆

Have a great week!

Sophie
