Preparing Christmas and Blogmas

Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer . 

In my private life

Happy Sunday,

Good news: my mom will go back home on Tuesday.

I had to take care of a lot of things (daily visits from a nurse, physiotherapist, psychologist, meals to get delivered, grocery shopping…) but we are getting there.

Let’s hope she will be able to cope with these helps otherwise it will be the retirement home.

I also am preparing Christmas! I finally have two menus (for those who love meat and those who love fish) and lists of groceries so yay!

And I did post four “Blogmas” posts with my favorites of 2025! More is to come next week and the week after.

The puppies are growing fast! They are chaotic, funny and sweet. And they have lots of energy.

And last but not least here is my latest reel.

  3. The puppies are utterly adorable! But I’m sure they take up loads of your time. We are also a household who cooks two meals on Christmas Day – one for the veggies and one for the meat-eaters. But that’s okay – we’ve dealt with that issue for so long, it isn’t a problem. Have a great week, Sophie:)).

    The puppies are adorable :)
    I just wrote my Christmas lunch menu shopping list before I started blog visiting today. I provide the salads and desserts and my parents provide the ham and turkey.

  9. Great news about your mom! You’ve had to do a lot to help with that, so give yourself a pat on the back! I enjoyed your coyote story (the comment you left on my blog)! That would be a surprise! Those puppies are entirely too cute! I want to listen to that Karin Slaughter next week. For sure before the end of the year. I have 3 library lends I need to get through first.   12. The puppies are adorable! I’m working on my Top 10 posts for the year. I’ve kind of got the books decided on paper, just need to make the posts. So here’s hoping I get some time for that, lol. I hope your mom is able to deal with the things she needs so she can be home. My mom is in mostly good health, and all that, but she gets lonely and while I am spending a lot of time there, sometimes I think if she’d move to a retirement community at least she could make friends that way. But she’s not me, and so I get that she has to do what she thinks is best for herself right now. I hope you have a good week!
