First let me say that I am sorry as I had no time to answer to comments last week or blog hop! Work is kind of crazy and winter leave me exhausted at the end of the day with no energy to get back behind the computer again.
I already blog hopped some today and will answer your comments right after I post this one!
Work aside what’s worth mentioning is that we had our first puppy training (group )session today!
I went with the boy and my husband with the girl. We were among beginners with taller and more impressive dogs. Usually the boy is distracted but here he behaved like a charm obeying my commands and we got congratulations from the instructors.
The girl though…had a hard time and wanted to be reunited with me all the time. She didn’t listen to what my husband asked and was so frightened!
Let’s hope next week will be better for her.
Another news is that I finally could watch episode 1 of Heated Rivalry! It’s airing out every Friday now. I have read the book and wondered if it would be as hot and it is!
I miss a little bit more of thought process and inner questioning that we have in the book but otherwise it’s true to the story!
And I can’t help but wonder if the actors are straight and extremely talented or bi or gay and have an amazing chemistry! Whatever the answer they are playing the attraction veeery well!
Last but not least, I took the time yesterday to paint the edges of one of my recent favorite: We Who Will Die by Stacia Stark and here is the end result. Sorry for the low quality of the picture…
And as usual I am leaving you with a reel where I was still wondering if I would order a second edition of “We Who Will Die” (you will understand whe you’ll watch it)

I’m so behind on blog commenting! I need to watch Heated Rivalry. But I don’t have HBO Max right now. Love those pages you painted, so beautiful! If I ever get another dog after the two I have now, I will definitely make sure to do some training with them. I hope you’ve had a good week!

Good luck with training, it can be a bit stressful, but it’s good in the long run. I need to watch Heated Rivalry at some point!
I didn’t read the Heated Rivalry books, but I’ve watched the series. Love those boys! Also very impressed at how quickly Connor Storrie picked up Russian. Beautiful edges, Sophie.

The edges you did for We Who Will Die are beyond gorgeous! If I didn’t have a special edition that already has edges I’d ask you to do my copy.
I’m sure the pups will be the best students soon! And if not, they’ll be the cutest at least!
I am confident the puppies will continue to improve. That book is gorgeous. I was surprised to learn Connor Storie learned his Russian accent and the lines in about six weeks. He is very good!
I hope the pups get better at the training. Maybe you and the husband can swap next time? Those book edges are amazing!

Oh I remember puppy training class. It always took a couple weeks before our dogs would settle. Its hard with other dogs, new smells, new people… its just a lot! Good Luck!
Poor little girl puppy! She probably wanted her momma to be by her side. Hope the next session goes better for her. I have Anatomy of an Alibi too. I hope I like it better than you, but I’m not a fan of a story with a bunch of unlikable characters (like It’s Not Her). Yes, it was Reece that bugged me. I know she was a teenager, but still. I had to up the speed of the audio in her chapters just to get through them quicker. Hated Wyatt and Daniel! Wyatt was truly awful! I feel bad for Courtney getting stuck with that kid!
