Happy Sunday!
My title today is Spring and busy bees and it’s figurative but also literal!
Figurative because my work week has been very intense and I have been very productive!
But literal too because we now have a beehive in my neighborhood! And that makes me so happy!
I talked with the beekeeper the other day and she showed me everything! As I am not frightened by bees I was in heaven! And the hive is so pretty painted a forest green with flowers on the sides. I hope we’ll get to buy honey!
I have decided to wait before mowing our grass so that bees have plenty of dandelions to feed from!
I also had two doctors appointments and one was because of my vertigo problems. I have to go back to the hospital a second time to take a second test but so far the doctor doesn’t seem worried. And the great news is that I have the “perfect audition”, something very unexpected for a woman my age... At least not everything sucks with menopause LOL
And that was pretty much my week!
Next week I will go three times to the office and that means waking up at 5 AM each time!

Bees are such amazing, fascinating creatures! I used to voluteer at a museum in their biodiversity department, and teaching kids at the bee hive station and helping them find the queen was my favorite thing to do :)

Yay for the bees. My grandson (8) has been asking since January if he can cut the grass. At the end of the season last year, he was cutting our lawn supervised and absolutely loves doing it. LOL Is the 5 am wake up because of commute time?

My son is very allergic to bees so that would not be good for us.

I love bees too, how exciting there is a hive nearby. We are seeing more bees this year already because some of our newer trees and plants are flowering. I hope your week is less busy!

Ah thats interresting. My cousin’s boyfriend had bees! Though i’m not a fan of honey, and mother cant have any if thats not pasteurized so

That is neat the you are running a hive in your yard. I am scared of bees. I admire your bravery.
It’s close to my yard Sam not inside my yard and it’s a neighbor who runs it but yes, I went to see it up close as I am not frightened by bees.
I do love honey! When you first mentioned the beehive, I thought oh no! But it sounds like it’s a welcome hive in your case. We had to remove the beehives that the busy bees had built inside our walls last summer and that was no fun. I don’t mind seeing them outdoors, but inside the walls of my house is another story. I hope you have a good week and enjoy your reading.
I think that inside our walls would indeed be another story! I probably would try to have someone remove the hive and relocate it without killing the bees if that was possible.
5 am – ugh. I would probably fall asleep instead of listening to audiobooks on the way to/from work. I apologize again for the horrible government we currently have. I did NOT vote for it.
