Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday,

This week has been extremely busy at work and yet slow in my private life.

I realize that I am not very present on the blog and I felt guilty at first. And then I thought better of it.

I have been blogging for nearly eight years now and if I am less active these past months, so be it.

It’s better to blog a little than to stop altogether. After all, this is a hobby and it must not become a chore right?

So I am taking it slow and enjoying the process because I don’t want to burn out.

Also I have been reading more, watching TV with my husband too (things I rarely do)… taking my time and enjoying life in general, as a promise to my friend who passed away.

Now as usual, I will share some of the reels I made this week.

The first one is about marking your territory…

And the second is about staying in or going out…

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

The first is a graphic nove, the sequel of Breaks and I loved it!

The Warm Hands of Gods was my first Katherine Arden and it was dark and beautiful!

Thanks for reading!

  1. I understand, we all need a breather sometimes. I have been trying to feel less guilty about not blogging if I’m not feeling up to it, like you said posting less frequently is still better than stopping all together!

  2. I think you’re very wise to take it easier. I constantly remind myself that reading and blogging are hobbies I do to ENJOY myself. So you grab those golden moments of fun, they are inevitably the little things we generally tend to overlook – and celebrate them. Your friend would approve. Have a lovely, golden week.

  3. You’re so right, blogging is a hobby not a job. Need to have fun and not stress about it. It’s important to spend time with your hubby and just enjoy life. Have a wonderful week, Sophie!

  4. I also struggle with this but ultimately you’re right! Better a small amount than none at all.

I hope your work load get to slowly get back to normal, and that you’ll have a nice week xx
