Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

News about my dog who wasn’t feeling well for more than one week! She is now healed but she was still drinking a lot because of the medicine and…needing to go out a lot day and night!

For 12 nights I barely slept but we are slowly getting there so that’s a win! Also my pup is now feeling good again so that’s such a relief!

But as I was exhausted, I have been very bad once again at keeping up with your posts and comments on the week! I now resign myself to the fact that I can usually follow on Monday and then, it peter out and I catch up with everyone on the weekend! But so be it!

I didn’t get COVID from the social gathering where a colleague was sick so that’s a win too!

Not much to say this week except that I taught in Dutch for two days.
I had to teach seven times (one more to go) this last month, four times bilingual French/Dutch, once in French and twice in Dutch from start to finish!
It would have been easy to ask a Flamish colleague to do it for me but well, it was a good exercise and I love to challenge myself!
It was remote teaching again so, very intense to keep the “pupils” attention with my voice and slides only.
But it went very well and I only got compliment so I am feeling very accomplished this week! LOL

Next week is only a two days week for me so I’ll get some rest at last!

Now I have a small funny reel for you showing my misadventure trying to use a wax seal and … that i’s not that easy!

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I wrote two reviews this week but I have two more to come and another post too. If I can manage to write them all today LOL.

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. Glad your dog is feeling better. There is nothing more awful than a sick dog. Never used sealing wax so no comment on that topic *smile* And a night without sleep? Ugh, I know how I feel after such a night… Have a great new week.

  2. It’s great you didn’t get covid and your dog is better. Not getting enough sleep is horrible. I’m glad you will not only have a bit more normal but also a break ahead! Congrats on teaching your class in many languages.

  3. Oh glad you didn’t have to go through Covid. And that your doggo is feeling better. 🙂 I bet THAT’S a relief ha ha!

    Love the seal! 🙂

  4. I’m so glad your pup is feeling better. I’m sorry she’s still needing to go out so much during the night. Hopefully that will quiet down soon so you can get more sleep. 😀

I think it’s so fun that you got to teach in Dutch. I understand that it was probably stressful. I’m glad you challenged yourself, though. I guess if you don’t speak Dutch at all, though, then that’s a different story but it sounds like you do speak at least some Dutch.

  5. All my high school French has long slipped away from me so I’m sure your Dutch is way better than any attempt at French from me

  6. I’m so glad to hear about your dog! And teaching in Dutch sounds impossible (for me) which makes it very impressive Hope you have a good week!

  7. Glad your pup is feeling better! Sorry you’re not getting good sleep, though. I got a new mattress a couple months ago and it has been heaven! But I still don’t sleep as well because my dogs wake me up every night a couple times. I know I should put them in their cage, but I would miss snuggling. I had a friend who went to a concert with me last Sunday and she texted me and my cousin that also went that she tested positive for Covid Wednesday. Fortunately I tested negative and have no symptoms. Hope you have a good week!
