Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. 

This week’s TTT topic is: Indie/Self-Published Books or authors

Whilepreparing this post, I realized how much my reading taste have changed! When I began blogging, I read nearly exclusively romance and more accurately, indie romance! But these days I seem to have veered off course and gone for the dark side aka the “traditionally published” side!

Even some indie romance authors I loved like Amy Harmon, Lucy Score and Kennedy Ryan have now found publishing houses to back them!

So most of these titles below are old(er)books but they still remain huge favorites!

  1. It’s so interesting how our tastes change and how we go through phases. I’ve been leaning almost exclusively into indie authors the last few years just as you’ve been moving back to traditionally published. 🙂 Amy Harmon and Emma Scott continue to be favorites no matter how they’re published!

  2. I am really impressed that I have read six of these authors. When I started pleasure reading again, I began with my daughter’s YA books. The I got caught up in FB groups and my indie romance journey began. We share some similarities there
