Topic:Â Mainstream Popular Authors that I Still Have Not Read
As I don’t know what a mainstream popular author could be, I went with the Goodreads awards from the last three years and took my pick. I figured that being on the awards list meant that these authors were popular and mainstream, right?

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

Also add me to the list of people who have not read Ruth Ware yet, and I see her books everywhere!
I do see them everywhere too!
I absolutely LOVE Ruth Ware! I did prefered Matt Haig’s nonfiction over the midnight library though, because damn.. that scene in the beginning I was not ready for that, you do need to be in a good headspace to read.
Thank you for the advice, that’s good to know!
I haven’t read any of these authors yet either, but I really want to try Matt Haig and Ana Huang!
Same Lindsey!
Yeah basically the goodreads choice awards are the most popular books, the ones that have the most ratings. really enjoy ana huang’s books.
I saw your post on the awards Renee!
I’d highly recommend T. Kingfisher. Her books are always so whimsical and unique!
That’s what I hoep Stephanie!
I adore Donna Tartt, and The Secret History is one of my favorites. Also I love that you got your list from the Goodreads Choice awards
I really want to read that book after haveing loved If We Were Villain as people kept compairing both books!
Go with Kingfisher first: you will become an instant fan – and enjoy the journey as well… 🙂
That’s what I suspect too!
I adore T. Kingfisher and would highly recommend Nettle & Bone!
Thank you Carole!
Hmm, I haven’t read any of these authors’ work either, though Ruth Ware is familiar at least.
I keep seeing her for years and never tried her books!
I have only read The Midnight Library, but oh! So good!
I know you loved it!
I thought I was going to be with you on all of them, but I’ve read T. Kingfisher. Some of the stories border on horror or cross over the line – and I know how you feel about that. You might want to check first.
I will Teri, thank you!
