The Brotherhood of the World Award

Thank you to Priyasha atΒ  Scribbled Stories for nominating me!

Go have a look at her blog she has it all: reviews, tags, etc. Priyasha did not reach 700 followers doing nothing 😉

I promise to do this award and here I am with some delay but life was getting in the way!

Let’s begin with the AWARD –

Β°Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
Β°Answer the questions sent to you.
Β°Nominate around ten bloggers.
Β°Create your set of questions for your nominees.
Β°List the rules and display the Brotherhood Of The World logo in your post.
Okay, now let’s take a look at the questions 🙂

1.Briefly explain your blogging style (where your favorite blogging spot/tools – as in, on the couch using your smartphone or something).

My blogging style is a mix between planned posts and spurt of the moment posts.

As I request ARCs I need to publish reviews and promotion following a certain schedule.

Taking parts in challenges (like the daily challenge β€œBests of 2017” or β€œBook Boyfriend” or β€œBook Couple”) and meme (Top 5 Tuesday and Calendar Girls) ask scheduling too.

Then there is the β€œspurt of the moment” posts. They usually are discussion posts or listicles. I get the idea β€œout of the blue” and just HAVE to write it immediately. As it often happens when I’m walking (body relaxed and mind wandering) the Note App of my phone has become my best friend.

When I do write my posts it’s always on my computer.

2.How do you manage your blogging time including blog reading time?

The best I can! I have very long commuting hours each day to go to work. I have two kids, a dog and manage two teams so you can guess the challenge! I replace TV with blogging in the evening once all my chores have been accomplished.

The biggest struggle is following my feed. I want to like and comment so much more but on the day I’m working I can barely spare 30 to 40 minutes to do so. I feel guilty of not doing more truly as there are so many great posts every day!

My book reading time happens mostly on my commuting time. I’m traveling by train so I get to forget everything in books. It’s the great perk of the commute.

3.Who is your most read author?

I would say Amy Harmon, Sarah J Maas and Cassandra Clare. I’ve read everything written by SJM and Cassie Clare. Same with Amy Harmon.

4.How did you come up with your blog name?

Good question! I wanted something that was not already used. Something a little bit daring like me. I think I’m a really cool chick but I also have a combative side. I used to fight with boys when I was young. The title and the picture seemed fitting!

5.What keeps you blogging?

All of you! Truly without the interaction with other bloggers it would have been so much harder. You inspire me, you give me ideas. I loved collaborating with Wendy and Talia! Poulami was very kind to host one of my posts and I wrote a post about wanting to be a witch for Melanie on her Halloween challenge.

Blogging also give me an outlet for my creativity. It’s something that I’ve kept under lock for more than 20 years now but that is an essential part of my personality. Blogging enables me to be creative again!

I also blog to help authors I love getting better known.

I nominate
