Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is : book with (..) on the cover.
Well it’s proven that a beautiful cover is important and I am a sucker for beautiful cover! And more precisely for character art on a cover.
So you’ll get some favorites here and you’ll probably get more than ten #sorrynotsorry

Thanks for reading!
Sophie

These are all so gorgeous! Sorcery of Thorns is one of my all time favorite covers.
Me too! I am a huge fan!
Ah these are all so pretty! I love the Margaret Rogerson and Aurora Rising covers so much especially, I think they’re both art by Charlie Bowater and I love them 🙂
I love Charlie’s art!
I have to agree with you on just about every one of these. They’re all fabulous!
Right? 😉
Such stunning covers! I love the one for Crescent City, too! 🙂
Thank you!!
Cassandra Clare’s books are always so pretty!!
Agreed!
Same! I love covers with stunning character art! It’s the best!
Right???
Oh yes, I love illustrated covers especially with a character as their central focus. And the more colorful the better 😀
Right? 😀
Elisa Kova’s books are so stunning, I have a few on my kindle that I most definitely need to read!
I hope you’ll love them Jen!
I see a theme here, Sophie. 😉 Cassandra Clare’s covers are always gorgeous. Your list of covers here are all stunning though.
Thank you Brandee!!!
I love the covers for all the Hours books. TDA have great covers too. Heck, I like all the Shadowhunters books, even the naked chest ones.
I love them too! So much Sam!
Cassie Clare and Sarah J. Maas seem to consistently have gorgeous covers. So many of theirs are stunning!
I totally agree Tanya!
I think most of these covers are done by Charlie Bowater and I absolutely love her art <3
Exactly!
Elise Kova has the most beautiful art, I still need to read her. And I do love Cassandra Clare covers as well. I am a big cover lady too, most times I can’t pick up a book if I don’t like the cover. So I feel you on this.
The only time I could pick a cover that was not beautiful was to read the amazing “Radiance” from Grace Draven and that was only because friends loved it so much!
So many pretty ones!! My top 3 is definately skin of the sea, fable & a trial of sorcerers!
Pretty hu?
This was a great idea! I can see why you chose all of these, they are gorgeous
I wish I was as talented as these artists!
All of these, all of them!!!!!
Right Caro?
