Hi dear friends!
July’s topic for the Top 5 Tuesday could be back to school when you learned your letters!
Shanah @bionicbookworm is asking us for books, preferably favorites or the ones we want to read, that begins with each letter of the alphabet!
This week being A, B, C, D, E.
That’s quite easy in the beginning but wait when we’ll get to X (it will be HAWT! 😀 ), Y, and Z (maybe a big zero)!
To make it more fun I will also choose one word beginning with the same letter to describe the book (or I’ll try to) 😀
Ready?
A
A List of Cage by Robin Roe was AMAZING
And I Darken by Kiersten White was AUDACIOUS
Art & Soul by Brittainy C. Cherry was AWE INSPIRING (How so I am cheating? Because it’s two words? Weeelll… 😉 )
Aurora Rising was ADVENTOUROUS
B
Beneath A Scarlet Sky by Mark T Sullivan was BREATHTAKING
Becoming by Michelle Obama was BRIGHT
Beartown by Fredrik Backman was BRILLIANT
C
Covet by Ella James was COMPULSIVE
D
Destroyed by Pepper Winters was DRAMATIC
Dev1at3 by Jay Kristoff was DESPERATELY AWAITED LOL
E
Eternally North by Tillie Cole was ENCHANTING
Pfew, first part of that alphabet challenge accomplished!
What would be your choices? Do we share some?
Thanks for reading!
Such great choices! I’m totally behind with reading everybodys T5T posts as I’m travelling at the moment but I’m catching up now!
A – Anna Dressed In Blood (One of my ALL TIME FAVS)
B- Blood of My Blood (LOVED IT)
C – Caraval – (I enjoyed it)
D – Dev1at3 (Just because I want to read the series)
E – Everneath (Loved it)
Mary
Hahaha great Mary!!!
Your take on this months topic is brilliant. 🙂 🙂 And great Titles on your list too. I will read Becoming soon so I’m so happy to see it here.
Thank you LILI!!!
This looks like a fun challenge! And I Darken didn’t work out for me but really loved Aurora rising.
It is a fun challenge Raven! And I am sorro for And I Darken …
Destroyed was such a good read! I admit I haven’t read Eternally North, it’s the only book of Tillies I haven’t read….is it sad? My heart cant take sad books!!!
No it’s not sad! It’s really funny! It’s her first book and one of my favorites!
Oooo thanks! *runs off to Amazon*
Great choices!
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
I think that this challenge is probably a lot more difficult than it looks! You have reminded me that I really need to get on reading Becoming. I have heard nothing but praise for it.
Becoming is fantastic. I would recommend the audiobook as it is Michelle herself reading it!
You just reminded me that I really need to read ‚And I Darken‘! I have heard so many great things about it.
Great list, as always ❤️
Thank you Lea! I hope you’ll nejoy Lada’s story 😉
Haha you did a nice twist with words Loved your choices. I can’t wait to read Aurora Rising.
Thank you Sim! And I hope you’ll love Aurora Rising!!!
Fun! You did good with it too. I think Deviat3 sounds pretty awesome. I guess it has a character named Lemon Fresh- how can that be bad??
Lemon Fresh is honestly the best Greg! And thank you!!
OMG I love that you used the same letter of the alphabet to describe the book! You put some serious thought and effort into this one!!
I have only read (and loved) Aurora Rising, but I am determined to read A List of Cages before the year ends.
Oh Sam it was such a moving read!
Looks like a fun challenge indeed!! LOL of there’s a” a”in front of the title
:-D)))))
Wow, those are some great titles, Sophie. You always come up with some good choices for us.
Thank you Alexandra!
Ooooh I like this prompt! I think I am going to do it 😀 I wonder if we can ignore “The” at the beginning of titles?
I think you do as you feel Brittany but I wanted to do it “for good” and if there is a “the” or a “a” before the letter I won’t choose the book LOL Except if we are at the “t” letter of course!
