Happy Tuesday everyone and sorry for the slight MIA these last days!
I will catch up as from tomorrow I promise (pinky promise).
Now I didn’t want to miss our Top 5 Tuesday hosted by Shanah at Bionicbookworm but today was a close call.
I had no idea!!!!
Dire situations call for desperate measures I called Mini Me alias Julie alias my daughter to brainstorm.
We came up with four books (sorry not five today).
The first book we were convinced just need a sequel: Angelfall by Susan Ee.
We would love learning more about Belial and his past life.
Second book it was my choice: Harry Potter by JK Rowling
Julie told me “but mom the prequel exists: Fantastic Beasts”. Yes …and no.
I want to read about Harry’s parents. About a young Severus and even Rogue.
Third choice: Julie’s choice: Rebel of the Sand by Alwyn Hamilton.
She would love reading more about the parents and how the Sultan turned into the evil that he was.
Fourth choice was a common one: Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.
Yes I know some other side books exist but we would like to read about the genesis. How these had all the power. What happened and how the firsts reacted to their new powers.
That’s it. Sorry guys but today was really hard. Plus I have mush for brain with the long lazy weekend. Just give me a few days and I’ll be back to my normal self.

1000000% agree with a prequel to Harry Potter! I want to learn everything about the Marauders and Voldemort gathering his followers! It would be so good! (or also a prequel to the founders of Hogwarts! That would be pretty amazing as well!)
Also agree with Rebel of the Sands! It would be so awesome to learn of the Sultans thought process during that crazy event in his life.

A big yes for Harry Potter prequel! I would love to know more about every adult, especially Harry’s parents, Snae and Weasleys.

My thoughts exactly with Fantastic Beasts. If you want to get technical, yes it’s a prequel, but not the right time period or characters!! I need Harry’s Parents, the Weasley’s beginnings, Snape, and the beginning of Voldemort’s powers. THAT’s the prequel I want! LOL!
