Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is a freebie and I chose to talk about series that I can’t wait for the sequel.
I know I should always wait for a series to be finished before reading it but it seems that I’ll never learn. That or I am a masochist and love suffering while waiting for the sequel 😆
OK here is my list with some ending a huge cliffy and others on semi endings.
And yes I know it’s twelve books and not ten but I have discovered so many amazing series recently that I just couldn’t help it 😉
Thanks for reading!
Agree! I need them alllllll!!!!
Big yes to both of those Sarah J. Maas books. I enjoyed them so much more than I was expecting to and can’t wait to see what happens next. 🙂
Same Suzanne!
Always the case!! I really loved The Prison Healer, too! 🙂
I need so many of these sequels as well! Especially Empire of the Vampire!
There are so many amazing series now! I still need to try Clare.
I hope you’ll try her books one day Greg!
I pre-ordered A Court of Silver Flames and there it still sits on my shelf – unread. What am I waiting for! I need to make it a priority before the end of the year.
Yes you do Tanya LOL
Are you sure you aren’t doing a long Top 5 Tuesday this week?!!
Mmm no. Was that the topic Meeghan??? LOL
Top 5 sequels I would sell my soul for
I still need to read Aurora Burning, I enjoyed the first book so much
I haven’t read Brandon Sanderson in a long while, but I do love his work. (did you know I know him and his wife? They work with my dad haha nicest people you would ever meet)
Waiting on sequels is always the worst, as much as I love series, it sucks especially if the first book or current book ends with a teaser or cliffhanger.
Really??? That’s so interesting!
The only series up there I have started is Aurora Rising (and I am already behind). I know my daughter was clamoring for the next Last Hours book after she finished the last one.
Your daughter has great taste Sam LOL
You’re reading a lot of fantasy these days, maybe I need to give them a try 🙂
I kind of got mostly fed up with only indie romance Jacquie. I needed something else and branched out in fantasy and historical fiction!
Several of these I need a sequel for too! The waiting is so hard!
Agreed Stephanie!!
