Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is Books I’d Want With Me While Stranded On a Deserted Island.
Well I think if I was stranded on a deserted island I would freak out and also become depressed after some time! So my best bet would be uplifiting books or funny books.
So here is my personal list…
Thanks for reading!
Sophie
Definitely The House in the Cerulean Sea – a must.
Love your spin on this week’s topic and this list is just pure perfection!
So much yes to The Kiss Quotient! I really need to read The House in the Cerulean Sea!
Great plan! It makes sense to stay happy, lol. And you have a great mix
The Kiss Quotient would definitely lift my spirits. So much to love in that one. Making Faces left me feeling good but it also broke my heart!
Every Katherine Center book is uplifting. Making Faces was uplifting, but so much pain to get there. I cried a lot. I have hold for Guncle. I heard such good things about that book. It makes me think of Auntie Mame.
I also picked Kiss Quotient to bring with me! I agree that funny/uplifting books would be a must if you’re stranded on a deserted island!
Damn, I should’ve added Sorcery of Thorns and Moti to my list!! 10 is not enough!!!
Some good ones. The Guncle has me so curious. What a fun cover.
