Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

Well this week has been busy with work but otherwise quiet.

The live chat that I should have had on Tuesday with Robin Roe was postponed as Robin was unwel and we are deciding when it will happen.

As the date already changed twice, I hope the third time will be the day we’ll finally get to chat live! Robin is feeling way better since, don’t worry!

Lots of people at work are sick. Some with covid (probably from the big gathering 2 weeks ago) some with flu symptoms but are testing negative.

So far I am unaffected even if on Tuesday morning, I was so very tired that I suspect my body was fighting a virus…and won.

I just hope I won’t get sick once I’ll be off work for three weeks!

And this evening, I’ll go watch Ticket to Paradise with a friend and our moms! I hope we’ll have a lot of fun but I do love Julia Roberts and George Clooney.

Last but not least, I did a funny reel on Instagram yesterday about (conveniently) forgetting that I was on a book ban!

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

I posted two reveiws this week but three are coming your way next week! I also know that I must catch up with all the comments and that’s what I’ll do in just a few moments.

Thanks for reading!

Sophie

  1. Hope you enjoyed Ticket to Paradise, it looks like a fun movie! Glad you didn’t get sick – it seems to be the season, everyone around me is getting sick (and I had a terrible cold for a while too) but luckily no COVID.

  2. Glad you’ve haven’t fallen sick along with your coworkers! I got my flu vaccine last week and just read that the experts are predicting a worse than normal flu season. Hopefully we will both avoid it! Fingers crossed that you enjoyed the movie. I haven’t been to the theater in several years!

  3. Nice that you had a relatively quiet week! I want one of those soon! I just came down with a virus, too. It’s probably cold/flu. This is the season for it, unfortunately. I hope you feel better Sophie!

  4. I don’t worry about getting sick like that, as I work from home which is nice. But it is getting close to cold/flu season. At least with covid now, its much more treatable now. But its good to remember there are other illnesses we can still suffer from, unfortunately covid isn’t the only bad thing to worry about. Hope you are staying healthy and strong darling. I loved your bookban video on instragram. Have a great week!
