Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

OK I took the plunge and am using the block editor as I am writing this. I am certain I’ll have to work on some adjustments but let’s try it won’t we?

So this week I have been totally absent from the blogging scene as work was insane and at the end of the day, I just wanted to do what a good booknerd wants to do: read and forget the world!

So that’s what I just did and it was much needed!

Now I am on a three weeks holiday and I can’t tell you how I feel relieved!

At work, the last day of course, I had to manage a COVID crisis.

One of my colleagues sent me an email telling me she had had a lunch on Tuseday with her old team to celebrate a colleague’s pension. And on Friday, she got a mail from HR telling her that someone at that lunch was tested COVID positive.

I can’t begin to tell you all about the hour I spent trying to find the right information. Did she have to isolate? Yes. But she came back from lunch and there was another colleague around her!

Did that colleague had to isolate? No as they didn’t see each other without mask for more than 15 minutes and with less than 1,5 meters. But she had to be warned and she will have to be extra careful for the coming days, wearing a mask etc.

Sheesh! One hour to handle that crisis!

Cases are skyrocketing again and homeworking is strongly advised but not mandatory…yet!

But enough about it! I have now three whole weeks ahead of me to rest, go to the cinema and see friends!

Before going to the second part of this post, I’ll try to share my latest reels that I made on Instagram

On the blog this month: wrap up (click on the graphic to read the title)

October was not my best reading month. I have read ten books and have two  favorites and  one very disappointing one!

My two favorites were Lore & Lust (mini review coming your way) it was a 4,5 stars

Lore & Lust

And my second favorite was A Shadow in the Ember!

And my big disappointment was These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan!

OK that’s it! Now I’ll see what my first post looks like in the classic editor!

Thanks for reading!

Omg that’s the worst.. cases are finally coming back down here- though I wouldn’t hold my breath, people are stupid, it can go back up (especially with halloween.. for sure people wouldnt had listened & threw parties..)

  6. I hope you are adapting to the block editor, I do like using it on certain posts. It does have a cleaner interface, I just wished it worked better with my theme so that all my posts could work with it. But I hope that it ends up being a success for you.
