I hope everyone had a great week!
The second heatwave we expected didn’t come! Huray! We had a very enjoyable 24 to 25° celsius weather with sun and two days of heavy rains (these were welcome as we needed the water).
What happened this week was work, of course, and me fetching my son who came back home after a four months long mission away! He was so glad to find his room and privacy again.
And he is already bickering with my husband who missed him so much while away but now dreams to send him off again. LOL
What made my week was watching K Pop Demon Hunters twice!
I know I am an adult over fifty (and I don’t even have small kids to justify watching it as mine refused point blank) and I had never listened to K Pop or watched K Drama before
BUT
I am also someone who loves art and Disney or Pixar movies. My dream was to work for Disney as a kid.
I am also someone who loves musicals and adore when there is humor in a movie (or book) and life lessons as well.
K Drama has all of that in spades!
I really fell hard for that anime and for the songs that I am playing on repeat! So today I will share the trailer with you AND my favorite song of that anime.
Plus in bonus an analysis of the art by another artist I love @Samdoesart.
Is it overkill? Maybe. Feel free to ignore it if you don’t think you’ll like it of course but if you are curious…

I’ve been hearing a ton about the K-Pop Demon Hunters, even saw one school librarian talking about her first display of the year having something to do with that, so you’re not the only one! I’m behind on reviews, need to read your past ones I missed while out of town. We were supposed to have a mega heat wave this week, but it is hot, but with some rain moving in it hasn’t ended up as bad as it was projected earlier. Thank goodness. Have a good week!

I’m also a fan of some Disney/Pixar movies (Finding Nemo and Toy Story will always be favs), Sophie, but I’ve never watched K-Drama. Glad your son’s home!

Everyone seems to have fallen for Kpop demon hunter.. but im not a netflix girlie so..
It is back heat full swing for us- getting to 28/30 degrees celcius again BUT I do have a doggie pool I might or might not soent half an hr outside sitting it in..
I should buy a doggie pool too and go in it with her Kristina!
You have to do what makes you happy. If KPop Demon Hunters make you happy, you watch it. I went on a trip over ten years ago where I got to visit the Imagineering studio in California. I highly recommend if you a have a love for Disney. It was amazing!

Glad you escaped the heatwave – we’re in the middle of one right now and while I love the sunshine, it is too hot for comfort. I have a copy of A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping – and my 20-year-old grandson LOVES K-dramas and K-pop – and has done so for years. He says the dramas are engrossing and very emotional. And I’ve grown fond of several K-pop groups from hearing their music… Have a great week!

My daughter watched that movie for the second time this week, while making her brother and her girlfriend watch it. LOL So I sort of saw some – they all liked it :) I keep seeing mentions of a Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping – I think I need to add that to my TBR list!

Lately K Pop Demon Hunters is everywhere online, or so it seems, and I started to become curious! I am so glad you enjoyed it so much!! And now I know I have to watch it! (Knowing me, it will take me a year to get to it but… I want to watch it!! )
