Hi friends,
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s theme is : books with an adjective in the title.
And that’s when I drew a blank! What was an adjective again???
Lucky for me, I post late on Tuesday and I had a peek at my fellow blogger’s posts!
So here we go with books that I have read and loved!

I know you got eleven instead of ten but what can I say? I was on a roll!
Thanks for reading!
Sophie

lollllll I am a 37 year old woman and I just had to look up an example of an adjective. WHYYYY?? Thanks for the reminder! I recently just finished an excellent fantasy novel (book #1 in the series) with an ADJECTIVE in the title (phew!) called “The Blessing of the Black Wolves” by JS Murphy. It follows a mysterious young girl who is being held as a slave, until her “powers” save the life of a young nobleman. He is grateful (and completely captivated with her) and makes it his mission to set her free and return her home. The world in which this book takes place, while fantastical, also draws a lot of parallels to our world. The politics are complex and directly influence the story (especially where “the nobleman” is concerned). There is a beautiful romance that develops under all of the excitement, and I could not put this book down. Easily one of my favorite reads of 2022 so far. I just ordered book 2, Raven Seeker. I think this is a new up and coming indie author worth checking out for sure – https://www.jsmurphy.ca
That sounds good!!
I saw so many of us saying that we had to look up what an adjective was. Elementary school was a long time ago! LOL Love seeing Emma Scott and Amy Harmon represented! 🙂
It was indeed a long time ago Tanya!
What a great list you have here. Its really hard to remember all the terminology of our school days in language classes although I always loved my English classes. You definitely are to blame for my interest in Amy Harmon, I still need to read that one you listed especially as I have been wanting to explore more HF.
And her new one coming in April is amazing too Renee!
It’s really hard to remember back to school days and all this stuff isn’t it!!! Great picks! X
Thank you Caro!
Ha ha I thought the same thing! But there are adjectives everywhere
Indeed!
LOL! I’m so glad I’m not the only one who had a brain freeze about the adjectives. You ended up finding some good ones though. 🙂
No you certainly were not alone Suzanne!
I saw this topic and had to look up what an adjective was again! Luckily I used a different topic. Ha! 🙂
Ha! I am glad I was not the only one Greg LOL
I was surprised I didn’t find more numbers or colors on my read-shelves. Novik’s is probably my favorite title up there, but I loved the Emma Scott book.
I had plenty of colors Sam but I wanted some variety on the post LOL
Great list, Sophie! I see some books I badly wanna read
Thank you Stephanie!
