Today is Sunday time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week . I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

In my private life

Happy Sunday!

My week has been super busy and I sometimes never saw the light outside as I worked late and began early!

This is always a mad rush the last month of the year.

Last Sunday, when I did an update of my BIOS, I was stuck with a black screen and a loading 0 percent! After nearly two hours, it was clear that was not working at all but I couldn’t shut down the computer not do anything!

That was very very scary!

As I bought a super expensive computer eigth months ago and also paid for extended support, I prayed the online support would be available on a Sunday afternoon and… they were!

We had a charming man guiding me step by step and miracle do happen because I was able to finally work with my computer!

Say all that you want but paying extra can sometimes be life saving. Ok not literally but you know what I mean.

Other news for those who are wondering about Beware of the Husband’s health: he has done all the exams possible and his heart is in perfect condition. So it’s mostly stress induced and he now follows sophrology classes.

Now as it’s become a tradition, I am leaving you with two reels.

One is a fun one where I embrace my inner nerd...

And the other is for Wednesday Addams fans where I recommend books that I think Wednesday would love.

On the blog this week (click on the graphic to read the post)

This week has been full of my “Best reads of 2022” with only two reviews. I guess I’ll read and review more in January!

But this review was.. quite the unpopular opinion 😉

This one was perfect for the season!

And here are my “best of 2022” of the week if you missed them.

Thanks for reading.

Sophie

  1. Good news about Beware the Husband, glad to hear that!
I relate on the not seeing the daylight these last few days/weeks. I’m not a fan of these dark days so I’m counting down til spring.
Glad to hear you had such a great IT experience! Hope you’ll have an amazing week!

  2. I hope this week is a little less busy for you–but what are the chances? I’m so glad you were able to get help on a Sunday for your computer troubles. That must have been such a relief. I am glad your husband’s heart is in good condition–that is very good news! I hope the sophrology classes help.

I like the bookish clothes too-bookish jewelry, bookish totes, bookish knickknacks . . . All things bookish. 🙂

I hope you have a great week!

  3. Yay for IT support! That black screen would have send me over the deep end, lol. I’m so glad to hear your husband’s heart is in great shape. I hope that he’ll be able to lower his stress and not have any further issues.

  4. It’s great the IT was there for you. I bought an extended warranty with our last 2 computers but found they just said send it in and after it gets here we will send it back after 10 days!! Who can be without their computer for 15-20 days by the time you add shipping time? So we have a local place we like do repairs. Good luck with your busy last month!

Please feel free to link up your list posts to our top 10 days next week!

  5. Oh no I hate computer tech issues, wouldn’t it be nice if they always worked perfectly haha Good relieving news about your husband though. I bet that is a relief.

Hope you have a great week!

  6. Yay for computer support people!! I pay for apple care on all my products and it has always been worth every penny (thankfully, I haven’t needed it often). Glad your husband’s heart is okay!

  7. I’m glad your computer was fixed! It’s a hassle but at least the tech support was there to help. I love that you did a Wednesday themed reel, I’m amazed how that Lady Gaga song blew up so fast, it’s everywhere!

  8. It’s wonderful you had good support for your computer and that they were able to fix the problem. YEAH! I feel it’s great news that the Husband’s heart is in good shape. *whew* But stress is real and can really diminish ones health. It has to be somewhat a relief to get some answers.
