Today is Sund…NOPE! It’s Monday but I have been so busy that my time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week is late!!!! Sorry!! I am still linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly@caffeinatedreviewer .

I’ll also FINALLY post my June wrap up because…better late than never right? 😆

In my private life

Since my last Sunday post, I got amazing news!

My daughter passed all her exams!!! She got all her finals in her first year of law at university and we are so proud of her!

She now has two and a half months of freedom. Even if she has a student job…

The whole year has been distance learning so it was very difficult for students, one more reason to be proud of her!

Also I went back to the movie theater with a friend!

We used to go eat sushi and go to the movie theater or concert but it was the first time in 18 months!

We were very careful, drinking soda on a terrace with distance and hand sanitizer. Also we wore a mask inside the theater and if there were 20 people inside the room (that could host 250…)I would have been surprised.

On Instagram, I have been chosen as a rep for The Fable Crate, amazing book box from Australia! I am also back in the rep pool of Boobbookowl, beginning in August.

And if you are curious to hear me talk, I interviewed a friend living in Greece because he had launched his own online shop. Greek and French accent guaranteed 😉

I leave the interview below plus two funny reels.

When the book becomes your life…

And next time you grumble about the price you have to pay for custom and hand made merchandise…

In June I have read 11 books and it was a fabulous reading month quality wise!

Here are my four favorites:

People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry. Perfect multi-layered romcom with depth and amazing characters.

..

Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boullay will probably be on Goodreads list of best debuts!

Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber was simply enchanting and Evangeline is an adorable heroine!

And Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid will be on my top 5 books of 2021!

.

That’s all for today!

Now I’ll go like and comment on your posts as I was so out of it!!

Thanks for reading.

Sophie

  5. Oh wow – you must be so proud of your daughter to have got such great results in such trying circumstances. It shows how much resilience she has… And glad you got to go out again, too! That funko pop character looks amazing – I’m so impressed at your talent. It doesn’t surprise me that it takes a long time to make each one. Have a great week, Sophie.
